My daughter`s dog seems to favor me when both my daughter and I are in her dogs presence?

the dog may see you as the Alpha. Have ur daughter train ur pup knew tricks, give walks, and feed ur dog,too. this will increase the bond between ur dog and daughter.

i had the same issue, but im the daughter. my puppy is my dog. she realizes that i take care of her but when im w/ my mom she gets a little confused, does she go w/ the alpha or me. she switches on and off but me and her have the stronger bond

well how old is your daugther and how old is the dog some times the dog feels and they can sense when you dont feel good have you ever noticed in the hosptial they bring dogs to the floor on different days and the dogs know and will want to stay longer with that person. also maybe you played more with the dog when your daugther did. dogs know and just want to be close to you.

This is because the dog finds you like the alpha of your family "pack". Maybe it is because others follow your lead or the fact you spend so much time with it. It depends how it sees you in society.
