People just want to vent their anger at anyone they can and homosexuality an easy and 'safe' target. They're ignorant bigots -- who cares what they think? Just ignore it (which is hard I know but maybe use at as fuel for your own inner development of tolerance for intolerance)

Maybe they sound mean but are really nervous or upset. It really hurts some people to know that gays are allowing Satan to rule their life instead of asking for and recieving God's will. But that goes for all types of sin, not just gay.

Because a great percentage of our population is shockingly homophobic. Sadly bigotry never goes out of style and homosexuals are the last remaining group people feel comfortable saying unkind things about... mostly because they believe the bible authorizes them to hate.

It's unfortunate, but people are still harbor so much hate for those that are different. Sad way to live...with so much hate.
And for those of you who use religion as your excuse...I don't think hatred is something God values.
