i also have this tongue retainer and its so annoying and leaves marks and if you had one what does it feel like when they take it out?

food also gets stuck inside and it takes forever to get it out.

Smooth....it feels incredibly smooth. Your teeth won't hurt usually. Putting them on hurts a lot more. Retainers sometimes move your teeth slightly so there is a tiny bit of discomfort, but the overwhelming sensation you will feel is smoothness and it will be hard to hold your tongue still in your mouth! :)

I still have my braces on but my friend just got her's off and she says it is RELIEF but hurts for a day or two

wonderful. but wear that damn retainer otherwise in 5 years you'll be back in the braces

It doesnt. Your mouth feels incredibly smooth once you lose the braces. Its wonderful.

it doesn't hurt, but you will feel slimy because its so incredibly smooth! It hurts just when you eat for a day or so, but eat soup and you'll be fine.

nah it doesn't hurt, but it feels like you don't have any teeth, and your mouth is going to feel like it's twice as big and you won't stop looking in the mirror!
