the computer you are working with and the internet that you are talking on, the electrical light in the room you are sitting in, the air conditioning that is making it bearable to sit there, the refrigirator that you got a cold drink and snack from earlier, the vaccine you recieved as a child that kept you from contracting a disease that would have killed you.....
you will not see something evolve before your eyes, the process of life takes time periods well beyond the scope of a human life and in fact the entire existence of homo sapiens occurs in the last second of the evoluntinary clock of just our planet alone....you need to broaden the scope of your perceptions and realize that you exist for only a blinking second in the grand scheme of the universe

When the theroy of evolution came about, it was said that the proof of evolution would be that we would find thousands and thousands of trasitional fosils, but the fact remains that no one has ever found even 1 let alone the thounds that were said would be found. So the very thing that was said to prove evolution is the very thing that di-proves it. And no the computer is something that was created, just like everything else that we have in this world, some one had to create it. Just as a building has a creater, so does this world.

Although I am far from an atheist, well not that far really, Animals are evolveing all the time to fit better in there enviroment. Even the human race is evolveing we have a smaller memory now than 1000 years ago mostly because everything is about doing it fast we now remember more codes than words and more short cuts than facts.

Let me answer as a Christian who spent his entire life with the high-tech subjects of the day. Fifteen of those years were in Industrial Robotics and ten were in Telecomunications. I worked with word processors forty five years ago (to the ignorant I say, "Yes there were"). My job was Technical Training so I had to know the subjects thoroughly
Indeed, my knowledge of science at one point caused doubts for me of the very existence of God. But perhaps that was why I was driven that way. Sometimes we can only understand things in depth when we are totally immersed in them.
My first sense of release from the great god Science came from the study of Logic. I learned of valid logic, but also of flawed logic. And in that process, I began to see the logical falsehoods of much of theoretical science. In my view, Science was no longer infallible.
Then, learning the history of science taught me that theory changes constantly. Todays "truths" are the falsehoods of tommorow. New observations constantly threatened old theory. If the new observation could be warped to fit the old theory, all was well. But, if not, a new theory had to be developed to fit the new observation, and the old theory was scrapped.
Einstein thought Quantuim Mechanics was crazy. The observations were not possible under Newtonian theory. So he sought a theoretical umbrella under which he could explain the four known forces and their interactions. He failed.
It was then that I began to realize that everything that had ever been accomplished by science came, not through theory, but through observations and hundreds of thousands ot trial and error attempts to make the observations useful.
We went to the moon. But it wasn't Newtonian Physics that got us us there. It was observation and tens of thousands of failed attempts from Goddard to Von Braun.
I was free!! The great god Science had gaping flaws!
Now I rarely see conflicts between the Bible and religion. The Big Bang theory (First there was nothing, then there was this Big Bang), suspiciously resembles the Biblical version (the earth was without form and void...........And God said, "Let there be light")
All of science now seems to confirm my religion. Even Darwin will as soon as its followers let go of the unscientific view that life proceeds from the simple to the complex. All other sciences hold that nature proceeds from the complex to the simple. Everything decays. Genes die, mutate, become corrupted, and become less complex. Darwin's error was in assuming that life bucked the trend. He begins with a single cell with a simple DNA. Then he guesses it just got bigger (more cells), more complex and efficient until it finally became man. His view would eventually turn man into God.
But he can be forgiven as can his followers. Some future observation will force the examination of his theories and, as with all theories, it will eventually be scrapped.
Sorry for the long winded explanation. Just thought you should know the the great god Science doesn't die easy. Science is a useful tool and should be respected. But it is a flawed tool, and one without morals. It is no more than the Golden Calf and those who worship it are misled.

Well, people have gotten taller and live longer. There is a family of elephants in Africa that stopped growing tusks in just 4 generations, wolves have become dogs. etc, etc
Also, plastics, polymers, automobiles, jet liners, swimming pools, colleges, several plant species, cures for disease, tolerance, systems of government, books, movies, communication devices, at least one cloned sheep, nuclear weapons, machine guns that can see around corners, binoculars, clocks, languages, art, gods and monsters.
Read a book or something, maybe you can make a better argument if you have a little education.

antimatter and matter created the universe. Until recently antimatter was just a theory but it was created so its provent that antimatter and matter collide to create matter. Species have evolved to their enviroments. Frogs in polluted areas have evolved to adapt to their enviroments. Horses have evolved from rather pig/dog looking small animals into what they are today, same with elephants, they were once covered in dense fur. humans have evolved from cromagnon man who looked like a cross between human and ape

this is complete spam dude, u are creating unnecessary conflict for no reason. Unless some priest somewhere suddenly discovers blueprints for a computer processor, or detailed genomics data hidden in the bible, I will not believe you. If your god has manuscripts of how to cure diseases in his books, then people might believe him.

ok, are you really asking what can science do?
science can take a dead person's heart, put it in your body, and make it work. i think that's pretty damn amazing.
about creating: you mean living things? we're not there yet. nature creates.
about evolution: get yourself to the discovery channel store and buy the dvd about finding eve. its a great documentary about mDNA tracing to africa. it also incidentally gives credence to evolution.
also, evolution takes millions of years. recorded history is much shorter, only a few thousand years.

Then you arent paying attention.
It would take hundreds of thousands of years to evolve from one species into a new one.
"Science" is only "deductive reasoning" appied to physics.
