ok, so i dumped my bf and i really want to introduce myself to this other guy at the beach, but my ex is still really protective. i said that we could stay friends, but he's taking it a little over!! and also, what are good ways of getting this guy that i like?

Go get him (the other one that is) make the first move. For your ex b/f do not openly flirt with this new one in front of him, it is not nice to hurt people, sure you will not like to be hurt by anyone.

Well, your ex needs to get over you.....so don't give him an inch, he'll take a mile. If you go after this guy on the beach, then your ex may get mad and cause a fight with him. So if you really want to get with this guy, then don't do it around your ex.....let him get with someone else first before you and this new guy start parading around the beach. Try a restraining order. "Protective" is a nice way of saying "Control FREAK!". Get him away from you, by any means you have to. Otherwise, your personal life is over.
