my friend 'joe' is dating my friend 'tony's' friend katy. 'tony' introduced 'joe' to katy but when 'joe' said he wanted to date katy 'tony said no, and now hes being really mean about it and trying to mess things up...'joe' wants to know what he should do...help?

Why is it Tony's choice on who Katy dates?? Does Tony have feelings for Katy? I think Joe should go ahead and just ask out Katy. Unless Tony and Joe are best friends and Tony really likes Katy, Joes doesn't have any obligation to tell Tony about what girls he wants to date. That's really childish of Tony too. But if they are best buds, Joe needs to talk to Tony about it and make sure it's ok because a friendship is not worth losing over a girl. If not, then tell Joe to go for it!

Well its not exactly proper for Joe to date Katy when Tony saw her first. I cant really say what should happen since I dont know whether or not it was clear that Tony wanted to dat her first when Joe started going out with her. But we also have to consider Katy, if she is with Joe and she likes Joe, Tony should not be interfering either. I know he must feel like crap but that how the game goes, sometimes you win and sometimes you dont. What Tony can do is try to play his way into Katy's head, like maybe start to flirt with her and hopefully she'll begin to like him back. But dont wont be right...lol

let her decide, tony likes Katy and doesn't have the balls to approach her. Joe should just let things happened, otherwise the girl might not even be interested in neither of them. And Joe will end up losing a friend over a bitc..h.
Both guys should talk about it and have the girl decide who she is interested in, and respect her decision without getting butt-hurt, at the end is all up to her anyways.

You cannot choose who you love. It just happens. Guys are different then we are. They'll eventually get over it & move on with life - regardless if "joe" and "katy" hook up or not. However, in my opinion, I think "joe" should go for it! Get er done!!!
