it not only depends on the activity you are doing but also the calorie intake. if you eat very little and then exercise you will not have the nutrients to repair your system. and when you do start to eat again you will pile the weight back on. never ever skip meals. some people skip b/fast this is teaching the body a very bad habit. youre telling it its not going to have anything for 16 hrs if you have the other 2 meals . you body will then become more efficient at storing fat its energy is released twice as slowly as carbs. but to cut a long story short around 3 to 4 weeks you should start to notice a difference in your muscle tone.

I started running and put on about 3 pounds! Then the weight started to float off, now that I changed my "bad" eating habits.
Ended up over a stone lighter in 2 months!

After the first week. Don't go by the scale, go by the way a pair of pants fit.
Jogging can take a lot out of you, so make sure you keep up with your calorie intake and that it does not increase.

well it depends how far your running, it also depends how your eating. If your eating properly and running about a mile, you should see a slight difference in a couple of weeks, a small difference but you'll see it on the scale.

Measure yourself now and wait about a few weeks and measure yourself again. You may lose inches before losing weight.
