More fuel for your fire:
In a recent poll, 16 percent of surveyed British Muslims said they believed the attackers were motivated by a just cause.

The poll, conducted for The Times newspaper and ITV News, found that 13 percent of Muslims felt the bombers should be regarded as martyrs, and 7 percent felt suicide attacks on British civilians were justified in some circumstances. Pollsters surveyed 1,131 adults between June 1-16. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Hi citygent, the problem is that people coming from other nations are allowed not to integrate with other cultures if they dont want to. Also, they are not loyal to the UK as you are in the US (many immigrants over there are proud to be classed as an 'American'). I remember when I was in primary school (1968-74) all the different nationalities celebrated Easter and Christmas..we are too politically correct in this country. If someone hates this country to the extent that they are willing to take the life of its citizens, then they should go to a country whih agrees with their idealogies. By the way , I am a British -born man, whose parents came from Guyana in 1960 (I am of Indian origin).

Too bloody right! It's an insult to us hardworking taxpayers and the people behind it are laughing at us right now. And RON, why is racist wanting illegal immigrants to be stopped from coming in the country? The bombings may never have occurred if the government had control of immigration in the first place. Are you mad or are you just plain dumb?! I think everyone in the UK should do a protest march outside no. 10 everyday until they listen to us.

Probably pushed them towards the bomb makers by calling them paki and paki bashing, being racist as well then the nasty relgious freaks did the rest.

I was not indian but not white and used to get a lot of bullying, names like paki etc even though was not one... so can see that may have partly led them to it.

Like school shootings... again due to bullying then payback...

But what happens is these relgious types say we are right and brainwash them. But it would have been a lot less likly without the brits starting it

Not all immigrants behave that those. So, no that is not a reason to stop immigration.

Just for the record, I am not an immigrant.
I live in London and was very close to where one of the bombs went off that day. It was very scary.

I honestly feel that their are too many people in the uk who have been born here, or those who came here many years ago when things weren't so difficult ... black, white asian ..whatever ... ( sorry not trying to offend..) we are NOW suffering from a major lack of housing, lack of job opportunities, etc .. we cant afford to keep allowing people into our small country ... we cant even support our own any longer.

How do you stop immigration to Britain? They do there what they do here ... plonk themselves across the border and scream blue murder and racism if you don't pander to their wishes ... and since we're all supposed to be so goddamn politically correct, we are racists if we object ... the United States and Britain have a lot in common, and not only good things ...:(
