there this guy i like but he's about to be in grade 8 and and im going to grade 11. i mean he's really hott and cool and stuff (and sometimes there not really anything to talk about) just i dunno if i sholud go out w/ him or not? cuz i a total player and he is my best friends brother. so yea. my question is if u were in this situation would u say yes or no?

ma'am, i suggest that you do NOT go out with the young man. he is too young, and what will you do when you get out of high school? he'll be stuck in 10th and youll be in college. trust me, you shouldn't, no matter how cool and hot he is.

the only answer to your 'should I..." is that you may. That you are older than him does not matter nor his being brother of your best friend. In fact , that would be a positie factor(unless you are not sure of yourself of an abiding interest in him) By far the only contra-indication is that both oof you are just kids and if it is platonic love for the time being there can be no objection. But engagng into sexual relation at this immature age has its own problem.In fact, that your mind should turn to such thoughts at this tender age shows that you have not very many interests in life. Try to act up your age and cultivate and develop interests appropriate to your age. The entire long life thereafter is there for your to pursue these youthful interests.

I mean im 26 and dated a 17 year old before but that was purely sexual. What could you and an 8th grader have in common? That seems like if its meant to be wait until he's a little older and more mature. Women mature faster than boys anyways so really hes waaaaaay behind you developmentally (I hope). I love younger men, addictive even but you are too young to even consider a younger man, pardon me thats still very much a boy.

By your grade levels, he's about 13 and you're about 16...generally, chicks mature faster than dudes anyway PLUS you've got 3 years on him...he's too young to be "going out"...focus on guys more your age...and there should be no "players" at 16...teens are just getting into the world of dating and relationships...y'all should feel free to date around and spend time with various people...that's how you learn about people and relationships and life...

No. You're like, 16? And 8th grade is like, 13? You're almost graduated and he hasn't even started high school. You're up for getting a driver's license. You need a guy that has the same experience at your age. He might be "hot" but do you really want to date a guy that age?

You are in a different stage of your life to him. If u hook up with him u'll just be the older girl he's getting with that he tells his friends about. Why do u want to be with someone who doesn't even go to the same level school as you.

No.....let the kids be. You'll be giving him braggin rights...especially if you go to bed with him. Maybe when he gets older, and of age, then you can do what you want. But you're fixing to become a legal adult, and if you do anything with him, this can lead to getting you put in jail, and a criminal record that could haunt you for the rest of your life.............best of luck to you........

I would say HELL NO. What do you have in-common with an 8th grader and you only have one year to end high school. I think you should just move on dear. I don't think he'll be old enough to go to prom with you.
