The answer is yes.

God is able to create a star in space He can't extinguish....but He is able to extinguish it anyway.

Because God can do anything, even things the human brain cannot wrap itself around.

The answer of "no" does not contradict God. Answering "no" means saying that if God can create a star, then he can extinguish it. An all-powerful God would be able to do both of these things.

If you believe that "God" is the maker of all things and The all-powerful, the answer is no. If He could make a star, he could extinguish it as well.

This is one of many arguments used by people which is simply a falacy. The point is not whether or not God can do something, or will do something, or wants to do something. Isn't the point that God is there, and will be there for you in your time of need?

Whatever you believe, faith is most important. It will help you through your day, and your night. So believe what you do, and believe it well.

this again. ok, here goes:
No, He cannot create such a star. The fact that He "can'd" do this is not seen as a serious limitation on Him. Just like that He can't die, feel motion-sickness, or trip on a rock.
So, perhaps if we clarified what we mean by "all poweful": He can do anything except that which would limit His power. So, His only limitation is that He is limitless.

Hope that helped.

Can God almighty create a thing which he cannot destroy?

God cannot do anything and everything. There are so many things that God almighty cannot do.

Can God be born? One of the characteristics of God is that He is not born. If we say that God almighty was born, then there was a time when He didn't exist. And if there was a time when He didn't exist, For Him to come into existence, somebody has to make Him exist. So there is somebody else who is really God not Him. If we say that God almighty cannot be born, we are also saying that The Creator cannot become His creation. Because creation means what is in need of a Creator. To you be a creature, means that there has to be someone who create you. So if God became His creation, that means He is now in need of a creator. THIS IS IMPOSSIBILITY AND ABSURDITY!

Can God create a stone which is too heavy for Him to lift?
God almighty cannot be unjust. The moment when God become unjust, he ceases to be God. Because it's one of quality of God almighty that he is JUST.

The Qur’an says:
"Allah is never unjust In the least degree." [Al-Qur’an 4:40]

God cannot be cruel.

God almighty cannot throw me out of his domain. He can obliterate me. He can kill me. He can vanish me. But he cannot throw me out of his domain. WHERE WILL HE THROW ME? Everything belongs to him.

God cannot create a tall-short man. Yes he can make a tall man short. But no longer will he remains tall. But you cant have a tall-short man. You can have a medium man, who is neither tall nor short. But you cant have a man who is tall and short at the same time.

nowhere does the Quran says that God can do everything, Quran says in several places that God has the power over all things. There is world of a difference between "Allah can do everything and Allah have the power over everything"
Allah says in holy Quran (85:16)
"He does what He intends (or wills)"

Whatever he intends he can do. But God does only Godly things. He does not do Ungodly things.

When we muslims say "God almighty can do all things", we are talking about all things that are consistent in Him being God. Not included the absurdity, impossibility and the things which make "God" no longer "God".

ISLAM HAS LOGICAL ANSWER FOR THIS QUESTION

EDIT >>>>>> ==============================...

"His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, “Be!” and it is." (Qur’an, 36: 82)

The question is not about God. It is a logical transposition. It comes from language, not God.

For example, we can make a statement like, "It is raining, and it is not raining". Without an awful lot of conditional enhancements, both parts of the statement cannot be simultaneously true

Your question is simply the same kind of flawed logic presented as a question rather than a statement.

If you believe in a God that is all-powerful, then theoretically God could extinguish any star in space that he creates.

God is so Big he holds the universe in the palm of his hand. Of course he could Extinguish that star.

These types of questions are designed to demonstrate the inherent contradiction in "omni" words.

If you believe in an omnipotent god, you must accept that there are actual paradoxes and that you will never be able to understand them.

Can you do that, and are you willing to?

It is a completely irrational question, still funny though. The correct answer would be no because an all powerful being cannot compromise his own power.
