Because you care about him and you are willing to forgive him but you guys have to talk it out first. Conversation is a key thing to a good relationship. You should learn how to forgive depending on what he did to you that was wrong.

It's called low self esteem. You're confusing feelings of inadequacy with love. Obviously this guy knows how to punch your buttons. Run like "H" before he decides to punch you. that includes physical, emotional, and psychological.
