When eating out with your significant other...?

Do you sit next to or across from them and why?

Next to him. He always makes sure that we get a booth and I sit on the inside so that he can protect me from anything that could happen. And we love the touch of each others body and we can give each other those sweet little pecks on the cheek or lips. Yes we are one of THOSE couples that you want to tell to get a room. :)

Across if alone, so we could talk. It's not like sitting next to each other on the sofa. Next to each other if dining with others, so that it's easier to talk to the people that we see less of than each other. It's also feels nice to be physically close and shows that we are a couple. Though it wouldn't bother me if I sat next to my girlfriend and the guys were across the table, but I don't think that the guys would approve. LOL!

I sit across from him so I can look him in the face while we talk. I like the eye contact.

There are those romantic nights out where we sit close to one another.. but we're usually not too worried about verbal communication on those nights!
