There can be a wide range of symptoms from one person to another with fibromyalgia, so coming up with general suggestions can be tricky. Try different things and whatever works, keep doing. Whatever doesn't work, stop. And, of course, do consult your doctor before you start any kind of diet, exercise, or nutritional supplement program.
Get plenty of rest
Try to avoid excessive stress.
Eat good organic dairy, produce, and meats. Drop fast food and processed foods from your diet.
Exercise carefully. Exercise can reduce your symptoms but only so long as you don't overdo it.
Drink plenty of clean water. If you're not sure about your water quality, then you may want to invest in a water filter to attach to your kitchen faucet.
Learn and regularly practice relaxation skills such as meditation or prayer.
Consider magnesium supplements: some research suggests that additional magnesium can reduce the occurence of acute episodes and reduce the severity of more chronic symptoms. I, personally, have found this to be so.
Use natural herbs and supplements to help you relax and/or sleep. Calms Forte has proven quite effective in helping me to both relax and/or sleep. Valerian is an herb that is also quite good for a good night's rest.
Most importantly, stay informed. There are new developments in coping with and/or treating fibromyalgia all the time.
Finally, remember: you are not alone. Millions of people in the US alone live with what you're experiencing. You can have a good life, even with fibromyalgia.

Yoga is worth a try. I'm not saying it's a cure but it would be what i recommend, since medicine has no answers.
Yoga has the best chance.
