I don't like the idea of leaving my dog in my truck with it running. I want to try and find an air conditioner(s) small enough to be put in and taken out of my truck. If I must leave my dog in my truck I want him to stay cool.

I will report any rude comments.

do not leave your dog in your truck. What are you thinking? put a short leash on dog in back of truck. make sure to give water and shade!!! If you don't like that idea then park in the sun on a hot day roll up the windows and take yourself a good long nap.
please leave your dog at home if you try the nap idea!

If your going to go somewhere that you would be forced to leave your dog in the truck, leave him at home. You have to know that's the right thing to do.

u know i don't know but i was watchin american inventor and a lttle boy about 12 had that idea and the judges told him that his invention wasn't good enough, he had made a portable a/c jus for that reason alone and i thought it was a good idea and not even that it could have been good for campin and stuff like that too. but it made me angry that they turned down a little boy for tryin to help america and their dogs.

You shouldn't leave your dog in the car at ALL in my opinion......but, I do understand some out of the ordinary instances, and I have heard of something on tv.

Even if you do find one, I believe Animal Control can still take your dog if they see it in a car by itself... Just to protect yourself and your pup, check your local laws.

There are. Saw them advertised on TV. Sorry, don't know who, what, why, or where. Clips on window, window will seal.
