it's just a different religion that praises nature and life. Hollywood made it seem evil and scary.

Hi Leelee,,Well human beings fall into three basic categories, Leaders, advisors/intellectuals and followers..The real power is with the advisor/intellectuals but don't tell the leaders ok..Proportionally the leaders are few in number as compared to the followers. Now then understanding this is important. Followers do basically what they are trained to do. When the Holy church murdered and stole from hundreds of thousands of so called witches they also educated the massed to believe it was good and just. This belief continues to this very day. Slowly a new truth is permeating throughout the world by the intellectuals but the process is very slow. Followers dont seek out truth on their own. They are happy with what they are given. You and I are of the advisor/intellectual class. Soo best we can do is to educate where we can. Good luck

IT's because of all of the foolish people who go around saying they are wicken and misconstruing it as a rebelious bad thing. If people would actually read up on it they would see that 30% of poeple who say they are wicken truely are it is sad.
Side note same thing goes with satanicism if poeple were to read the "black " book they would find that only about 20% of the people go by it's codes.
I am Christian but I believe in order to really know and love each person you need the true facts.

anyone who thinks the pentagram is evil is an idiot. i mean, it has been used in some satanic places, but thats not its purpose.
but i guess u answered ur own question, hollywood made it seem evil.
theres also the bible, i think Lev. says witchcraft is a sin.
it could be people fear what they dont understand, or reject and create fear in what they disagree with.
but seriously, can u do those crzy things like in that movie, like change ur hair color?
fyi i have nothing against it, its not not my religion, and though i believe in it i respect people who practice it, as i would want equal respect.

Some religions believe that any type of magic is evil. because its not a natural thing. They believe you shouldn't need magic to use for anything. Really though, who the hell cares!
I read that if you put a spell on someone and they find out its comes back to you X3. That might hurt.........but, thats only if you believe. Right?

Whatever, Hollywood made it look cool. Now a bunch of teenagers are making potions pretending to magicians. They have no idea what it's about, or bother to learn principles. Have you even heard of Wicca, or just the "craft." It's harmless because those kids are morons.

Im neither Bible or the craft but you people with your Bibles you think you are all holier than thou. All thats stuff in the Bible is worse that the stuff witch craft people talk about. But its all the same catagory. The Bible is the most messed up witchery, that was ever written. It keeps people all worked up, and stressed about every thing.

the craft is bad.....you worship nature and life ....well I worship the one who created the nature and life of all things.....why worship the 2nd fiddle player so to speak.....pentagrams don't scare us and spells are what one makes them out to be.....but EVERYONE serves a god whether they like it or not....you either serve Jesus or satan.....witchcraft no matter how good it seems or how bad it seems or who you say you are worshiping ..well it is still worshiping satan.....you may call it mother earth or what ever but your still fallen.. and very much deceived...the sad part is ...is that you don't see the deception all around witchcraft and you embrass it....but like I said we all serve one god or the other and we will all meet them one day......so make sure you are truly worshiping the one you want to spend an eternity with......

It isn't just that religion. No matter what religion a person is involved with, there will be those who condemn it. Just read some of the questions and responses here.
Some people just don't seem happy unless they are degrading others and their beliefs.
