People have a God consciousness. Should we nurture this or supress it.

It all depends on your point of view. But either way, it seems that humans have a natural desire to believe in God and the supernatural, since virtually every culture throughout history has some sort of religion.

Whether we should nurture this or supress it also depends on the person, I believe. Some people are happier knowing that there is a God and some people are satisfied being atheist or agnostic. Whatever helps you to live a happy, good and satisfying life is what should be cultivated.

All have been given a modicum of faith by GOD.

He has also given us the free will to accept or deny this.

We can plant the seed, and we can water the seed, but only GOD can provide the seed and make it grow.
