Not right now the American male (mostly conservative) has not evolved enough yet. The woman and the gay male do not fit the father figure image and therefor the male will not believe they can protect. We still have civil rights issues to overcome like gays.

Not for another 20 years or so, and nope, it won't be a man's fault...it would be women. Fact is a lot of women don't want a woman president to this day. And the generations that could put a Condi or Clinton in office in 2-6 years don't vote. Those that do are conservative and would not care for either candidate.

Yes, I think it is a possibility that next term we might get a woman president. I have read that Condelisa Rice would be the only candidate that could beat Hilary Clinton. Democrats seem excited at the thought of Bill being The first first gentleman. God forbid. Have you heard of Margaret Thatcher , Golda Mier, and Nehru's daughter. Queen Elizabeth the 1st....All incredibly strong solid and decisive leaders.

The big one is Margaret Thatcher, a tory from the UK. She and Reagan were good friends and she sent in troops to take back the Falkland Islands from the Argentinians when the Argentinians invaded. Another example is Indira Gandhi who persecuted the Sikhs until one of them assassinated her. I am sure there are more, but I those are the only two I know.

There have been many female presidents and/or prime ministers in the world, the latest one to be elected I believe is Michelle Bachelet in Chile .. then we of course had Margaret Thatcher in England, Indira Ghandhi i India, Golda Meir in Israel ... presidents include Mary Robinson and Mary Macaleese in Ireland ... and they are the first ones that spring to mind ... there are probably others .... some were good, some were bad, some were pretty indifferent ...

In the days of Pagans woman were equal, often they were worriers as well as leaders.Woman rulers went out with the coming of Christianity, there have been few since and mostly all were good! I personally think they have what it takes. A wife rules the roost and any man who claims otherwise most likely sleeps in the garage!

i really think that it doesnt make a difference what sex you are in order to lead the country. It all depends on s persons beliefs and i think that a woman can do that just as well as a man.

i don't believe of race or sex has some thing to do with why Hillary or Obama ought to develop into the subsequent president. The stereotype is that blacks will vote for Obama yet i comprehend of many whites that voted for him too. the different stereotype is that females human beings will vote for Hillary yet I also comprehend of many adult men that voted for her. i love Obama and what he's about. OBAMA '08!!!

women have the ability to rule just as well as men do, I honestly think we won't have a woman president for a while because its traditional to have a male.
