I hear some people with responses like "how would you know"? So say if you found out that they were... would you feel violated?

Prayer is asking for God's blessing on your life. What is to be violated about? This is usually done with the best of intentions and God's blessing is offered freely...with or without any permission.

Prayer is a very personal matter. It does not make any sense to feel violated about someone praying for us, with or without our knowledge. Only, the manifest manner of prayer may at times cause some physical inconvenience, a matter to be resolved with some common sense.

Why should you and there is nothing you can do about it. Im a christian and if a muslim wants to pray for me then i dont care for one its not the same God i worship cause in the muslim bible it says allah has no son so i know it isnt the same God i worship, and second whether they pray for a blessing or harm it wont come true unless God the Father alows it.

No, I would not feel violated I would feel appreciative. Sometimes God lays a person on your heart to pray for and you don't even know why you are praying for them. I am so thankful that there are people out there praying for me, whether I know it or not!

If someone sent you good vibes or positive thoughts without telling you, would you feel violated? How would you even know?
The way I look at it is, everyone can use a little more positiveness in their lives, no matter what form it takes.

Why would you feel violated? I mean, if you dont believe in the God they are praying to, what difference shoudl it make to you? Are you also going to try to prohibit them from thinking about you next? Because that is about all that it should equate to, if you dont believe in God. Dont be so easily offended- it really will make people not like you much.

Why not? If you believe that praying doesn't work, why say anything? No reason to be offended, people get offended over small stuff if you really think about it... They are praying because they care, and they believe that they are helping you... I personally believe praying works, it always works for me, anyway...

Prayer that I was unaware of has saved me from disaster more than once. I found out later that they were praying and felt enormously grateful.

No, they can do anything they want. It is their life, their god, their prayer. Don't worry about it. People who care about you have the perfect right to pray about you. Anyone can talk to god about anything anytime they want and i don't really understand. do you feel the therapist is interfering in your life? How does your therapist talking to god violate you?
