Yes apparantly I am a Nazi according to foxtail, see the end for that response. If it wasn't for being personally attacked by foxtail, I probably wouldn't have answered this.
First I will answer the question.
I think there are 2 main reasons for this.
A. There are far less scientologists than they would have you believe. Using recent Govt. census's it is very clear that there are probably only about 100,000 scientologists left in the world. Only the Church itself says 8 million, and they have been saying that for decades, while still appranatly being the fastest growing religion - it is a logical fallacy to support both these statements, yet this is what the church has done for ages. It is lieing to its members to make itself seem better. There are only 55,000 scientologists in the US for example according to the 2001 census. http://www.entheta.net/images/2001-US-CENSUS-Scientology.jpg
http://www.entheta.net/archive/COS_members.html
B. The Church doesn't allow members to look at critical information esp. the official court and goverment documents. They don't even allow them to look at say Ron Hubbard's Navy Document stating his service - why because it disagrees with the lie Ron told them. It is Scientology Policy not to look at data critical of scientology.
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/cos/LRH-bio/servrcrd.htm
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/cos/LRH-bio/
The Church doesn't allow members, esp. staff having full access to the internet. They sent out a CD which claimed to have only netscape browser on it, and a tool to develop a personal page on the net about scientology - what they didn't tell is that it also included filtering software which blocked out the sites scientology doesn't want you to visit, which is anything with critical information on it. Strange isn't it...
http://www.xenu.net/archive/events/censorship/
They are encouraged to get all information from within the Church itself, so eventually they just cut off from other sources than the church. Experienced members would not be using this site because of the general negative picture that is always painted (with good reason) on this site, and not just by me.
You can find all the evidence about what i have stated at the website that foxtail mentioned. http://www.clambake.org or its mirror http://www.xenu.net Although this certainly isn't the only sites critical of scientology, there are many more. (i have used 4 more just in this answer)
You can watch scientology in action at this website:
http://www.xenutv.com
Foxtail is a typical of how criticism is handled in scientology
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkWmkiFpUGSB4AtKfghLutwgBgx.?qid=20060625061002AAKDm4y
- attack the critic with ad hominem (a logical fallacy in any arguement) rather than the points he made.
http://www.lermanet.com/persecution/
Recently Scientology has been labelled a criminal organisation in Belgium. http://www.lermanet.com/LRonHubbard5.htm
Foxtail, You must really read the ROC... Personal attacks are not permitted, but no I won't report you as I said before its your opinion.
I am not a Nazi, and it is really quite shocking and a strange experience to have to type such a thing.
People are free to believe whatever they want, and I will defend anyone's right to this. For the record, I am glad you have stuck around. I don't even mind people practising and believing in scientology, that is their belief and they are entitled to this right.
However the organisation the Church of Scientology is a different matter. If social & mind control techniques are used in a group to gain & keep adherents (amongst many other things), and is a group that fits every single indicator for a cult, then I will speak out against this organisation. Pick up a general book on cults, and it will be a real eye-opener...
"I'd prefer to die speaking my mind than live fearing to speak."
-- Arnie Lerma, critic of CoS
So to recap..
A. There aren't actually that many.
B. They are told or encouraged not to look at "entheta" or info critical of CofScientology.
There are plenty of questions around on scientology, you can search for them, or just look at my Q&A. I try to answer as many as I can so as to keep people aware of what I believe (and many others - mainly ex-members) are the dangers of the Church of Scientology, so that others may not be duped as hundreds of thousands have been over the last 50+ years.
Here are some ex-member accounts: (these are books so are quite lengthy)

Meet me!
My name is Patrick, I live in Australia...and I am a Scientologist, If you read my profile you will see how many times I have written to defend Scientology in the face of the hate mongers that rule this whole Answers thing. I am so sick of people bagging my religion - especially this one Nazi called Liam who doesnt really know anything except the rubbish that is on a religious hate website called www.xenu.net.
Thanx for your time

Yeah, I've only seen one scientologist. Someone said that a lot of them used to be here all the time, I don't know if that's true though.

Because Scientology is a weird-*** excuse to lure air-head celebrities into giving away their riches. If you dig scientology that's cool. I can hook ya up with a couch to jump on and a talk-show host to shake around...

It is an emotional and mental health pyramid scheme.
His son, L. Ron Hubbard, Jr. claimed in 1983 "99% of what my father ever wrote or said about himself is totally untrue."
L. Ron, Jr. said "according to him and my mother" he was the result of a failed abortion and recalls at six years old seeing his father performing an abortion on his mother with a coat hanger. In the same interview, he said "Scientology is a power-and-money-and-intelligen... game" and described his father as "only interested in money, sex, booze, and drugs".

i've seen one post.........and that's it.
i think there just aren't that many scientologists out there. i guess no one can afford the $200 join fee that specific cult requires.
note: any religion that makes (i'm not talking donations either) you pay money is a cult.

Cause they don't want to be laughed at? And they are not even a real religion (except that they bullied the IRS to claim so)

From what I've seen, they're way too superficial to really discuss something, or maybe their cult doesn't allow them to discuss it, they might have to think and it would hurt.
