Where are you fishing? It makes a difference if it is in the N.E. or West coast. Gulf etc..

you'll p.c.. to maintain a minimal of 0.5 the water get 3~ 5 gallon buckets bypass the rocks and filters into 2 buckets and fill with water (safeguard the lid) and interior the third bucket fill atleast 0.5 way with water and one smaller piece of rock and the fish, leave adequate water interior the bottom of the tank to maintain the sand lined. If the tank is going to bypass speedy, then they are going to all be ok for round 12 hours till finally a sparkling out will would favor to be extra. (damage the floor of the water each and each and every few hours so the fish do not suffocate) The tank is small so it is going to in no way be a monster to bypass, in basic terms get all of it lower back into the tank as immediately as achievable as to not disrupt the cycle. The fish will be lower than pressure, do a water replace as rapidly because the sand settles lower back off.

Bait wise, you'll want to use ballyhoo or pinfish. Throw a mixture of chum/sand out while trolling then throw out your lines (outriggers help). Fishing for dolphin (mahi), you need to look for long trails of sea grass, and tuna, they just come with the chum/bait combo. We usually go at least 20 miles out though...depends on what kind you prefer.

I use fresh shrimp and fresh squid. Fresh works much better than frozen bait.
Next choices would be small fish/minnows or fresh clams then cut bait
