Relax, take a deep breath. It will get better. Keep in mind that your parents are not only concerned about your driving, but also the insane driving of other people. It takes awhile to learn how to keep an eye out for bad drivers while you're driving.
You are getting experience by driving side roads. Once you've mastered that, you'll move up to more. Give it some time. Your parents are just trying to keep you alive. All it takes is one idiot in a two-thousand pound bullet - that you don't see being stupid - and your life could be over.
Just work hard at being responsible with a car, and your parents will see that.

They will loosen up. What would really be great would be if one of them went with you a lot and let you drive the different situations to gain experience, then they would be more secure with where you drive, because they could see first hand that you are mastering it and that your abilities have strengthened. My son just got his license and I was set against him driving on rural highways. My husband and a guy he works for, rode with him for a couple of months before he started the same path on his own and I have to admit, my fear of him going it alone really relaxed, once I realized that he had been doing it and gaining experience. My husband said that he has really become a good driver.

Yes! Things will get better.
Remember, you are using their car. It is how they get to work each day to earn the money to buy you food, a home, clothes, etc.
Driving is not a rite, but rather a privilege. By driving well under the conditions that they have set, you will earn the rite to drive in other areas.
Just do the right thing, drive safely, and be thankful to them for their letting you use their car. In time, you will be granted greater privilege.

Save up and get your own car. They are maybe looking out for you just as much as they are looking out for their car. What is yours is yours and if you are paying for it you can do whatever you please with it. Just make sure to show responsibility that you are a good kid and with a smart head then they it will be better to get your parents off of your back. Most people get into accidents soon after they have just gotten there license when they were teenagers.

Definitely things will get better. Just show your parents that they can trust you to listen to them by doing as they ask now and then once in a while ask them if you can have a little more freedom when it comes to driving. If you live within their regulations now, they'll be more likely to give you less restrictions in the future.

All parents are nervous about their children driving especially when they just started. Give it time it will get better. For now just drive where they allow you to show them you can be trusted and they will let go little by little. As an parent myself, it is hard to except that our children are growing up and we still want to protect them from everything. Be careful and give your parents time to except the fact that you can drive now.

It's parental nature to be over-protective. Try to be patient and
reason with your parents, show that you're responsible and can
be trusted. In time they should relax a bit more.
