Yes, I do. I think that it amounts to 'bait', only problem is, Congress doesn't realize the hazards of REALLY catching THAT fish...visualize, for a moment, the potential impact of about, hmm, say, 400 million people moving into the country in say, hmmm...let's call it 40 years. Can you say 'kiss your arable farmland goodbye'? LOL Some of the people we have in office aren't very smart, and some of the other'ns sold their ethics down the river...and some wouldn't mind at all the idea of selling a bunch of americans down the river, too. With politicians, sometimes it's all about money, they don't really give a damn about your rights, just as long as they can get 30 bucks out of you, that's what they were after to begin with, and past that they don't care, they went into politics NOT to serve the american public, but to make MONEY. That's it. No patriotic duty, just MONEY. Do you think arnie ran for governor of california out of some feeling that he had a burning need to be a strong leader for americans? No. It's always been about ca$h with some folks, and that's all they see, another exploitable market etc.

The immigrants, legal or otherwise, are One Big Cash Cow.

It's not as though our existing services or our economy would collapse if we started enforcing immigration law. It might mean that some employers would have to pull up their socks and, ahem, re-state their earnings etc., or clean up their other hiring practices, I think we've got corruption problems that'd boggle your mind, and the illegal immigration's a band-aid on some long-term problems that have thus far gone un-addressed.

We need reforms. One of those reforms is immigration reform.
Reform doesn't have to HURT, but you DO have to get started, eventually.

I mean, on the flip side, if we're not going to have any immigration enforcement, that could be good, too. That'd mean they could get rid of a bunch of bureaucracy, and save the taxpayers billions of dollars, but you know it'd just get scooped up somewhere else.
While we're at it, we can get rid of all our county offices, too!
LOL I mean, who really likes jails, anyway? You don't want one of THOSE in your town, hell, you could put in a strip mall! With real live strippers! Laws are such a pain in the ***, anyway...who needs em? Get rid of those, and you don't have to have a special section of the library no more. While you're at it, fire the cops, too!

On second thought, let's go ahead and keep the county courthouse, the jail, the police, libraries, and so forth. BUT, let's draw the line at garbage like the thing for artificial insemination for illegal immigrant lesbians, and so forth. There comes a point when too much is too much, and that's where regulatory oversight is supposed to do its' job. Since THOSE guys didn't show up for work, let's get the voters actively listening and participating in the political process again, and not just turn it all over to Exxon etc...

WOW! Goes to show how flucking dumb alot of Americans are. What about the money that is spent on the wars? Welfare for parents that can not control there kids. Immigrants is something that we can blame it on. Go for it! instead of facing the facts.. Not saying that some money is not spent on them* there is alot of Mexicans where I am at and they have helped our town alot.. when the white and black man would not do the work! No. I think we spend too much money on adults of legal age and able-bodied that would prefer to be baby factories in this country. I think we spend too much fighting foreign wars. I think we spend too much giving aid to Africans dying of AIDS. I think we spend too much flying into outer space. I think we spend too much OUTSIDE our own country, rather than inside our country.

It would also behove you to read up on the number in regards to immigration. Illegals who hold jobs using fake SSN numbers actually contribute to the SS system, yet they never collect from it. Also, recall the fact that these people are living here in this courty - they pay taxes every time they purchase gas, food, clothing, entertainment, etc. So, tehy are contributing to society as well, on top of the fact that they are doing the jobs that White Americans refuse to do.

So, do we spend too much on it in this country? I think not - we have far better ways to waste away our money by giving aid to people OUTSIDE the country.

If you lived n California you would. Free education for their kids, free medical, ( no citizens get that! you cannot believe how many hospitals have actually closed and gone out of business here because the emergency rooms have to treat them and get paid nothing!) have to pay more for insurance for your car because they don't have insurance (I been been hit three times in 10 years by ia's with no insurance, hell they did not even have a license to drive), more crime, (several of them were busted last year for breaking into cars and stealing the stereos in my neighboorhood last year and ask any store owner---they shoplift like crazy so I have to pay the higher prices when they are raised to cover the losses let alone all the ones that become gang members and commit murder and more) the neighboorhoods they live in start to look like Tiajuana and the property values drop like crazy and the decent people move out, they earn dollars here and pay no taxes on them and send most of the money back to Mexico and the list goes on and on. Get them the hell outta here! What tiny bit of money they might pay in SS tax with fake ss#;s is nothing to what they don't ever pay in Federal and State taxes. You can't even go to a Home Depot or a Lowes here without them jumping infront of your car and trying to get you to hire them for day labor work. They loiter and use the parking lots as a toilet and litter everywhere. Real nice having them here. Just love it! If you do not live in a border state, you have no clue as to what hell it is, what it costs the people of that state and what we go through. The best is when they march in protest on the streets carrying the Mexican flag!!! Not the American flag!!! (oh and then goes more of our money to send out the police to their little rallies and all the equipment and tying up our police from helping citizens) Really great that they think they have rights! What rights? They are not citizens. They take ten times more than they ever contribute. They want to vote and have a license to drive. They don't even attempt to assimilate let alone learn to speak English. Let alone apply for real citzenship.They deserve nothing. ALL of our realtives going back somewhere's came here legally! Why should the Mexican's get special treatment that my own Grandparents did not? The prisons here are full of them (that I have to pay for to house and feed) that have committed serious crimes. Their own country will not even take them back! there are family parks here that you cannot even go to anymore for the crimes they commit in them like selling drugs and fake ids and more. They are ruining this state. The estimates that we spend on them here are staggering, just staggering. in the high hundreds of millions of dollars. Money that could be spent on citizens.

We waste more on the military than we do on services for education and health. Combined. Only a fraction of that is spent on illegals.
