I have 4,000 songs that are all mp4/ITunes ready. I'd like to do a mass-convert to make them all MP3's. How do I do this?

Itunes doen't not use .mp4 files it uses .m4a (audio) file. and i don't know any software to convert from either .m4a or .mp4 to .mp3. .mp4 is a video file. unless you are talking about video then.

Choose the MP3 format in iTunes Preferences/Import.
Select your tracks and click "Convert to MP3".
(Try with 1 track first.)
