I don't think it effects your relationship with God as long as you don't think you're a werewolf or something. It's the same thing going on with the Harry Potter series. People think it's evil because it has magic but anyone who has read it knows that it's just a fanciful story that makes for a good read!

Absolutely! It glorifies satan and not God Anything evil should never leave our lips or should be focus our eyes upon.
Psalms 34:13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Psalms 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Psalms 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth

I don't think reading works of fiction that involve vampires and werewolves, etc would have any bearing on religion unless you started to believe them. And as long as they're not graphic or really violent, I don't see the problem!

No. Why would it if it's just FICTION? Reading isn't "sinning", or else we'd have such a puritanical society, it'd be ridiculous. Read books on topics that you find fascinating, & don't let anyone else stop you from enjoying them.

Absolutely not. A mature reader knows the difference between fact and fiction.

Neither actually exist in the manner in which hollywood deplicts!
Then again God doesn't exist either in the manner in which religion deplicts!
So what you have is would a made up sky fairy get angry at made up blood suckers or furry creatures? WHO CARES THEY ARE ALL MADE UP!
