Rod1979 - you should do your homework. According to a report in last year’s New York Times, each year, undocumented immigrants pay an estimated $7 billion more than they get from Social Security and $1.5 billion more than they get from Medicare.
Wages are kept low not by undocumented immigrants, but by corporations that have carried out a one-side war on U.S. workers since the 1970s.

YES, very true. It's like receiving stolen property. To all of you who answered on the contrary, if it wasn't for illegal immigrants, you'd be buying everything 10 x the amount you pay now, so I wouldn't go there if I were you. You'll be sorry!

Really? This is the heart of your case for amnesty for undocumented immigrants?
The two have nothing to do with each other.
Update: Like others have said, they have nothing to do with each other. A person who entered this country in an illegal manner is an illegal immigrant. It has nothing to do with what they make, help make, or any other job they hold. Example: Illegal immigrants harvest produce, such as lettuce. They entered and reside in this country illegally. Lettuce is not an illegal product.
A product that is made in violation of our country's law, is an illegal product regardless of whether the person who made the product is here legally or illegally. Crack cocaine is illegal in our country regardless of if it is made by a citizen or an illegal immigrant.
However, I think you are trying to make a different point regarding the contribution immigrant workers make to our economy. If that is true, your question is poorly worded.

Thats was very lame. First off yes companys exploit cheap labor and countrys have for thousands of years, not just America and those illegal immigrants that will work for less wages take money out of American familys pockets.Nobody wants those jobs you say yeah sure ok,wrong nobody can support there family with those wages in America however you can if your family lives in Mexico for example which most of the American dollar earned by the illegal immigrant is going to,not recycled in to your neighborhood or community to provide better education for you kids or better streets for you or programs for poor people in your community.Do your homework sir these illegal immigrants drain American tax dollars every year and I for one am sick of it. Its not just illegal immigrants I know this but it is part of the problem with this country.

It took me almost 7 years of paperwork, learning, and other preparations to get my US citizenship. So yes it is a slap in the face that even the thought of someone coming into this country, braking the law, can now stay here without any effort or personal responsibility. Just like most, I work hard for my money and it does anger me that I have to pay for someones insurance, schooling, health care who is not even contributing to the system.
But hey lets do it. Lets open it all up and be fair. That means that we let everyone in without any background checks or questions, including the fanatics.

The worker can be declared as illegal despite the nature of the job. The two are separate issues. If a legal citizen (that being U.S. born) makes an illegal drug that doesn't make the drug legal by virtue of his legal status.

This is a ridiculous concept. One has nothing to do with the other. If your in the country by breaking the law, your and illegal immigrant.
Why do people want to make senseless analogy's like this?

It is not their production but their presence in the country that is in violation of the law. If they did not obey the laws pertaining to immigration, their entry into, and hence their presence in, in the country is illegal. If what they do here is not contrary to the law, their production is not illegal.
It's quite simple, really.

Sounds right to me. Like people that illegally make faux handbags, the merchandise is considered illegal.
