Because man needed a helper. That's why.

Genesis 2:18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.

Funny you ask that.

Women have the means to perpetuate life, we can have babies. All we need is a source of sperm, and with science, we don't even have to have sex to get pregnant.

Basically....men need a an egg womb to have a baby, whereas women just need sperm. So since women have more capability for children, isn't it more likely that man is a counterpart to woman?

I have often asked myself the same question about men. Then I will need help on something and tada I remember. My guess is you are going through some rough times with some woman or women in your own life. We can be difficult but trust me so can men. We have our good points too.

how do you think humans would procreate without the womb of a woman?? and guess what, prior to Judaism and Chrisitianity, WOMEN were asking why men were created and many of them found men quite useless. GOD was WOMAN at one time. WHen you get a chance, remind LORD JESUS of that.

Some women are worth their weight in gold. It is true that some are trash l... but the same can be said for men if you want to generalize...When you find the right woman you will have the answer to your question. If you can not find one... you might look inward for the reason.

Besides this friendship between two people allowed him to take care of her while she took care of the children that followed.

men need women. women need men. without both, the world would die off . we need both to reproduce. we need mothers, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends to make a family work. families are good. you would be alone or never born if it was not for a woman. take care. without a woman, how would you have a girlfriend. or mother? life is hard enough without both men and woman. its ok to wonder, just be glad women are here!!!
