I'm sitting here at home and I can't go to the store to get catfood right now, but my cat is crying her head off for food. Does anybody know a way to make home made cat food easily with materials I might find in my kitchen? My cat doesn't have any teeth because she had to have them removed (bad kitty gingivitis) so it has to be fairly soft. She usually eats tender vittles so thats about as hard as it gets for her. I feel really bad for my poor kitty, so please help soon!!!!!!

i don't know exactly what a cat CAN eat from our kitchens but whatever you do...DONT give it tuna or whole milk. Give it pet milk if you have some. Good luck. :(

the milk is not good for their teeth and tuna causes kidney stones. just called the vet for you.

raw veggies are the best choice.

You can give her tuna, it won't hurt her. Cats have been eating tuna for a long time before this recent canned tuna scare, and they haven't gone extinct yet. Just don't feed her tuna exclusively - get her some real cat food as soon as you can. In the meantime, tuna yes, or some leftover hamburger or lunchmeat, some cats even like cheese. Don't give her raw meat, or meat with small bones she could choke on. And don't feed her chocolate! As long as you're getting her cat food ASAP, whatever you feed her now to keep her happy probably will not kill her.

My cat wants to eat most things my boyfriend and I eat. Chicken, tuna, (loves) pork, cheese (esp. mozarella). Cats have been around a lot longer than the companies that make Cat Food. Your kitty will be fine.

when my cat was sick we had her on baby food and malt-o-meal. if you can get your cat to eat that it would be great. if it does eat it it can't be a continual thing or it may cause constipation. if your cat is really picky then try mushing up some meats and blending it in with the malt-o-meal. hope it works out.

You can fix oatmeal like you would for yourself and add honey and milk. Go a little heavy on the milk. I really hope your kitty gets better :)

Cats need the proper balanced nutrition in bought cat food. People food only as a treat. By the way, they like liver and beef raw.

Yes, give her some canned tuna (packed in water, NOT in oil). This won't hurt her as long as you don't give it to her as a steady diet.
