Help with daughter seeing ghosts.?

Question

My daughter told me the other day that she sees ghost sometimes, She is 9 and has only seen a few (5). I am not sure what to do. I told her we would get through this together, she wants to talk to someone that can answer some questions, who do I take her to?

she says the ghost never say anything, it does seem harmless, but I don't want her to be scared.

She has always been funny about things even when she was a toddler I could hear her talking to someone when they weren't there. thanks for all the input.

Perhaps your daughter is psychically gifted. Many children are, but lose this talent later on.

Treat the matter gently and don't be like "Carrie"'s mom and scare her with a lot of nonsense about demons and goblins and prayer -- you could cause her psychological harm.

Hello,
My name is Kalynn and I know why your doughter is seeing spirits. You say that your doughter is nine, well that is right in the area of periffial vison. Young children can often see things that we cannot, ghosts and spirits visit her to let her know that they are there which means you have a knowledgeable haunting (meaning: The ghost is aware that he/she is passed on and is aware of the changings and surroundings, so they can see you too.) What I suggest is buying a voice recorder and leaving it in the spot where your daughter sees the spirits the most, with the voice recorder ask some questions.. Example Why are you here? do you need help? What is your name? and Why do you visit my daughter. Wait for at least a minute between questions and make sure the room is quite, ask if they can show a sign of their presence and if they do it means you have caught their attention, they won't always make a sign but will be there, don't do this with fear cause they can feed off of fear. After about an hour say I am going to go now and leave the room shutting off the recorder, or leaving it in the room (just make sure no one is in there) to come check on it later. You will be either surprised with what you find or dissapointed, Now remeber that you won't hear anything at the time but in reveiwing the recording, turn up the volume as loud as possible and see if the spirits have answered you back, try this a few times and then progress to ask them to leave your home and be bold (unless you don't want them to leave) There is nothing wrong with your daughter, most children have seen a spirit in their early ages. You can also buy a camera and leave it up over night. Night is the best time for EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomenom) and the best time to capture the spirits on film. I repeat there is nothing wrong with your daughter.

If you are truly serious about this, I would suggest you and your daughter get on your hands and knees, humble yourself before God, ask for His protection. Then ask that HE would guide you to the right place. Put your trust in God, not in man. Spiritual fights are fought with spiritual weapons. Prayer and the Word of God will help you the most in this spiritual battle. The Word of God is the best place for you to be. Find a bible with a translation you can understand. Preferably, find a "red letter" addition that shows all the words of Jesus in red and just start by reading those out loud. He will show you the way. Put your trust in him.

Read Ephesians 6 and pray for help. I am going to pray for you right now that all the spiritual doors that may have been opened will be shut and that by the power and authority in the name of Jesus, all "ghosts" must flee!

Let me ask you this first, as crazy as it sounds, what makes you think she dont??A very lot of people say the same things and its in books about sightings..I dont beleive it but you better believe me I dont disbeleive it..Try taking her first to your Paster and then to a doctor. Be carefull what you say to her about it if shes 9 and seen them 5 times then theres something going on..What ever you do dont let her start thinkingshe crazy. Do you ask questions like what are they doing.. do you talk to them. how long are they there, Do you know them.. As a loving mother the very first thing you should do is get off here and seekpro help.. Thats it MOM sure hope all turns out ok for her, and you. There are two ways you can go about things here. You can tell the spirits to leave - kindly mind you. Or you can ask them why they are there. DO NOT USE A OUIJA BOARD!!!!!! No matter what anyone tells you. Im not a nut but those things are bad news.

I live with 2 spirits that don't bother us - they're just there. We don't talk to them (unless he steals my stuff like hes done many times...) they just simply coexist with us.

I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but you may want to consider taking your daughter to a therapist. This may be a sign of a mental disorder. I can completely understand you're desire to believe your daughter, and who knows? Maybe she really does see them... But in either case, whether she is being honest or she may be suffering from a form of mental disorder, she will need to see a psychiatrist so that she'll be able to cope with it.

It depends on where she sees the ghosts. If they are all in the house or acertain area, research the area to see if anything happened there where somebody died or something important happened. A priest or something like that might be an option.

Don't encourage her to interact with them, either.

You need to locate someone in your local area who has firsthand knowledge in dealing with spirits because they can either see or communicate with them. Both you and your daughter need guidance and answers.
Look for resources at alternative bookstores, on the bulletin board and classifieds for a local alternative (new age) newspaper.

You should take her to a Christian Minister (not a priest) i say that because by the time the Cathlioc Church investigates it she will be 30. Some who knows about spiritual warfare. To sit and ask questions about what she is seeing.

See if your local university has a professor who teaches paranormal classes. See if he would talk to her or recommend someone. Check the bulletin board at any New Age bookstore, also.
