I agree with you 100%. However, most people cannot see the forest for the trees.

Because we the only life forms on any of those 9 planets you're talking about. And our atmosphere is put together to a TEE so we can breathe. If it were just a few molecules off, the entire planet would die. We have the exact right amount of oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and the like. Tell me we are not the focus of the deity's attention with that kind of metiuclous planning.

Hence why I follow The Way. Other Wayists and myself have discussed this before.
There are millions and millions of Deities. It is arrogant to believe that one Deity gives a toss about us, when others all worship and believe in the same Deity. However, with less-known Deities, it's not as difficult.

No, it's not arrogant.
"Religion is the opium of the masses."
People need something to believe in to feel significant. If believing that ::insert deity's name here:: "gives a toss about" them make them happy, then religion has done it's job.
However, being a Christian, I think..
Being created in the image of God;
Having your Creator give up his only Son to save you from sin;
Being given a list of 10 simple commandments;
And having people's prayers answered..
Maybe deities do give a toss.

Well I do know that I am important and I am making an impact in my sons life and my husbands life. I am sorry that you feel so tiny that can't see the wonders you can do as a human being.

I think John 3:16 does a really good job of describing how important we are.
Notice in Genesis 1, when God creates each day, he says, "It's good," but in verse 31, after He creates Adam and Eve, he says,"it's VERY good."

Pretty amazing, isn't it?
In the cosmos, we're not even a speck of dust.
But He says His thoughts of us are as the grains of sand in the sea.
He tells us that the hairs on our head are numbered.
He knows our name.
A sparrow does not fall that He does not know of it.

God (or whomsoever you call your deity) made us in His/Her image and likeness. That indicates that He/She gives a toss about something.
