bingo! an illegal alien is exactly that, ILLEGAL ALIEN. My family came to the U.S.A. from Italy 127 years ago and through the Immigration process became American citizens. The same way most American families grew. To call someone an Immigrant because they (illegally migrated ) snuck into this country for any reason is an insult to all of our family members who went through the process LEGALLY!!!! They need to wait until they are invited, then "man up" and ask to become an American.
As far as a comparative i.e. child molester...A rose by any other name is a rose.

Main Entry: im·mi·grant
Pronunciation: 'i-m&-gr&nt
Function: noun
: one that immigrates : as a : a person who comes to a country to take up permanent residence
Main Entry: 1alien
Pronunciation: 'A-lE-&n, 'Al-y&n
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French, from Latin alienus, from alius
1 a : belonging or relating to another person, place, or thing : STRANGE b : relating, belonging, or owing allegiance to another country or government :
You see, the difference is that an illegal immigrant comes here without all the corrent paperwork but hoping to settle and live here. The vast, vast majority want to become citizens (have you ever checked out the current requirements to become a citizen of the US? I know my ancestors would have had a bad time of it if they'd come over now). An alien is simply someone from somewhere else.

Er... no. Calling someone an "alien" as opposed to a "noncitizen" or an "immigrant" doesn't exactly encourage the fostering of positive relationships in this "global community" we are all supposedly part of now - does it, eh?!
Call it simple semantics, but words are very powerful & carry a great deal of energy.
I won't even get into to "youth enthusiast" stuff...

There is a strong correlation between those who sneak into the country in order to find enough work to feed their families and the perverted child molesters.
Yes, the quest for survival is definitely a perversion. good thinking, keep it up

According to the U.S. Code, Title 8, Section 1325, illegal immigration is a misdemeanor on the first offense, then a felony.
If you believe that sexual misconduct against a minor is equivalent to crossing our border illegally, then that seems to be your own prerogative.

Don't get it - they let people from all kinds of countries in to save them from persecution - well, the Mexicans that come here are escaping deep poverty. They love to work - they're not looking for handouts - so what's the problem???
