You should take your time and deal with every donator, still that would be time consuming. Try to set the donators into value categories. So in they donate under X $ send them all the same thank you tipe of card ( one type for this category); under xx $ (3 types of thank you cards); under xxxx$$ (personalized thank you card). Hope you understand what I mean. Good luck!

simply say "thank you for your donation of x amount of dollars. your donation will be put to good use helping whatever cause the non-profit is for"
