Jesus between Islam and Christianity?

I am a Christian and have always wondered about the story of Jesus. My Mum says he died on the cross and then came back to live, which is very confusing. Islam says he never died but was raised up to heaven.

My question is: Did he die or not? the answer to his question

Why would you lie about being a Christian when it's obvious you're Muslim.

Prophet Jesus was raised to Allah/God. Judas was crucified in his place. God can not die, existence depends on Him. Life and death is part of creation, not the Creator. He would not lower Himself into flesh just as a doctor/professor would not out of free will beg on the street. If God died, who brought Him back to life?

Jesus was crucified on the cross and buried in a tomb. On the 3rd day they went to His tomb and He was gone because He had resurrected. He then spent 40 days on earth before ascending into heaven. Does that answer your question?
