Decorating fabric is usually 54" wide, so whichever measurement is the width divide by 54- which for both numbers is 1 and a bit. always round up so u will need 2 panels. Then divide your length by 36" to tell how many yards you will need to cover that. In this case 2 and a bit. Round up so 3 yards ;long. 3 yards times 2 panels is 6 yards.
The reason you round up is that it gives you extra for seam allowances and hems. Have fun and good luck!
PS-if you want a more professional look, cut one panel lengthwise and sew one on each side of whole panel. It lays and looks better . Also if there is a repeating pattern give yourself an additional half yard to be able to match the pattern as patterns are usually offset.

You convert the inches to feet and feet into into yards - you know 12" = 1 ft. = 3 ft. = 1 yard. and make sure that you purchase enough to accommodate the hem.

First determine the width of the fabric you are buying and go from there.
