if you do not plan on it? Why can't a guy just be straight up and say (or something along this line), "Well, it was nice meeting you, but I don't see this going any further".

It's the easiest way to avoid confrontation. I've only told a girl once and it was followed by a million questions on why I didn't see it going anywhere or if she could've changed something. It's extremely awkward to tell someone what's wrong with them, esp. after a date.

I have never done that, however no one likes to hurt another persons feelings. It's even harder face to face.

why well if you really like the girl you call her because she problaly wont even call you.........sometimes when we dont like them we say that just so we wont hurt their feelings thats all

if i evr did say that i would call my gf ...i would keep my word..and call her.....no matter wut...i was raised as a gentleman....(blame the parents)
