Why a Jew can grow his beard in order to practice his faith But when Muslim does the same, he is an extremist and terrorist!Why a nun can be covered from head to toe in order to devote herself to God But when Muslimah does the same she is considered oppressed .
When a western women stays at home to look after her house and kids she is respected because of sacrificing herself and doing good for the household? But when a Muslim woman does so by her will, they say, "she needs to be liberated"! Any girl can go to university wearing what she wills and have her rights and freedom? But when Muslim woman wears a Hijab they prevent her from entering her university!
When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potentials. But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is considered hopeless!
When a Christian or a Jew kills someone his religion is not mentioned, but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!

When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him.
But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim! Whenever there is a trouble we try to find and solution to it and generally accept any solution? But if the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it. When someone else drives a car in a bad way no one blames him. But when any Muslim makes the same mistake - people say "Islam is the reason"! Without looking to the traditions of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say. But question is what the Quran says! A man is taking a walk in Central park in New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull dog . He runs over and starts fighting with the dog.

Very nice question. Good to see such questions on here. This is the reality. We Muslims know this fact very good, it's happening & will be happening. It is a global conspiracy.

And see, when you ask why Islam is terrorists, or such questions, all the Y!A parrots fly into the question and answer almost same with "kill kill yes yes true true!!" leave it with 20 responses, and when questions like yours posted, they stay away!

People love to look at what those few terrorists do, hate to look at what real Muslims do. they don't want to know what Islam teaches, they want to know what media says. We understand this very well, keep going!

As common sense still exists somewhat, we wouldn't see a "catch a cold" question, but I'm afraid very soon I'll see question asked by them "Down with Islam I caught a cold!!!"

I totally agree with you...BUT...there are some things that Muslims should change too, because acceptance should be mutual and not coming from one way. I understand that western countries have much power and are 'civilised', yet they will mistreat Muslims, and I think it is wrong.
But if Muslims were acceptive too, I think it would help the foundations of understanding and acceptance. You stated that a girl cannot wear what she wants in order to be accepted in a university. Wouldnt it be the same for an American girl trying to get in an Arabic university? Would she be allowed to wear a mini skirt? No. So why do you expect others to be totally acceptive while you and your country dont support acceptance? A friend of mine goes to Saudi Arabia alot because her father works there, and she is forced to wear veils and hide her body and face. Why cant people there accept her origin? Isnt that discrimination against foreighners? Just because the west has more money and power, doesnt mean that they are obliged to be totally acceptive to people who are not acceptive themselves in the first place. What would you do to Christians protesting in an Islamic country against another Islamic country outside of their embassy and shouting 'Arabic countries you will pay' as Muslims did in London outside of the Embassy of Denmark?
I still agree with you, because the west has a rather big obligation to other countries, especially the poor one, but you cant go out and say 'Look, we are strong believers and this is how we are, in our countries things are our way or the high way whether you like it or not' and at the same time expect others to treat you equaly when you go to their countries. How would you feel if someone forced you to wear a cross just because their country is a Christian one? You are complaining about university acceptance while you wouldnt accept a western girl to just WALK dressed up the way she wants in your country, not only to get in a uni...I think you should consider this...

I think that people want someone to blame for their problems. And since there are some Islamic extremist that are more well-known than regular Muslims, people choose to blame Islam, and use Muslims as a scapoegoat for the problems. Because we cannot deny that there are some problems that are caused by Muslims, such as the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden. But these problems are the same as any other religion. The thing is, that other people do not do it in the name of religion, where as Islamic extremists do. That's the problem- people's perceptions, not Islam.

The problem is the misunderstanding of Islam basics by many many people because of misleading media that is devoted to destroy Islam and Muslims. I hope that everybody think before they beleive what they see in TV...

I get your drift. While we need to be wary of the radical fundamentalists, there is way too much Muslim bashing going on.
Most Muslims are good people and want to live out their lives the best they can like the rest of us. I am sorry that things have gone so far.
