i love your question!!! i've been to france, italy, austria, switzerland and mexico. i absolutely LOVED my trip to europe! but i kind of wish my parents would've gone with me. i went with a groupe of teenagers from California. i made some awesome friends while on my trip. and it was awesome because we rode a bus to all of these european countries. so we got to see the cities very well because we were on bus, instead of flying to each country.
France was very beautiful! the Eiffel tower was amazing! it was so HUGE, it looks much bigger in real life than on tv. me and my friends went all the way up to the 3rd floor on the tower. i was scared i would fall over or something because it was really really windy that day. we went to the Notre Dame Cathedral which was real pretty. i couldnt' believe i was standing right in front of it. and we also went inside. after lunch we went on a river boat, for a cruise along the Seine. a long river near the Eiffel tower, so we had an awesome view of the tower.
we went to the chateau de Versailles which was amazingly ENOURMOUS!!! every room in that palace was beautiful! so much detail put into them. we strolled along the Champs Elysées in Paris. I had never seen so many people before. it was amazing! we went to Sephora in paris. OMG! it was HUGE in there, and amazingly crowded! so much makeup and lotions and perfumes to buy!!!! i'll always remember, one of the sales guys was handing out perfume samples. and asked me in english what was my nationality, and he said it in the most romantic french accent. and i told him i was hispanic. and so then he started talking to me in spanish. and i asked him where he was from, he was from Cuba, but living in Paris. and then he asked me if i wanted to sample the perfume he was selling. i was like, alright. so i handed him my wrist and he slowly sprayed the perfume on my wrist. and he said, "ma chérie" , and i was like, what does that mean? the perfume had a wonderful scent, too bad i don't remember the name. i'll always remember that wonderful experience.
switzerland was very hot when i went. i just had to buy some chocolate. i bought like $30 worth of chocolate for my family. and it's amazing that it didn't melt during those 3 weeks i was in europe.
in Austria we had lunch at the "Villa Blanka" in Innsbruck. it's a culinary school for teenagers, they actually live there and learn to cook because they want to become chefs. so the teens served us to food they had cooked. so it was teens serving teens. i really enjoyed it. the food was delicious and then later on we got to see a real chef make Austrian Apfelstrudel. it was cool, and then we all got into the kitchen in groups of 2, and made the dessert ourselves! and then we got to take with us on the bus ride. we were given recipes for it, and i still have mine, i should make it. mmm!
and then, the HiGHLiGHT of my trip. the guesthouse in Austria. our guesthouse was for 3 days and with teenage kids like me. sometimes it was an actual house u went to to stay with a local family, but ours ended up being a summer camp in austria for kids 8-17. all the children there at the summer camp spoke german, not neccesarily meaning they were from GERMANY. and us american teenagers were like, omg, how are we going to communicate with them. but some of the kids at the camp spoke some english. so i personally had a lot of fun with that. there were kids from all over europe who spoke german. the experience was unbelieveable!we got to know the kids there and i loved every second i was there. a couple of us exchanged email address so we could keep in touch with each other. i was so deeply disappointed when we had to leave the camp. i wish i could go again.
italy's gelato was incredible!!!!! there's really nothing like it in the world! our first stop was a city called jesolo. it's a typical Italian beach town and a few of us went swimming in the Adriatic Sea. me and my friends went shopping CRAZY! so many shops along the streets and of course after all that walking we just HAd to buy some gelato. hot guys there too! and then we went to Venice and we got there on a boat ride from Jesolo. the ride was about 20 minutes. the gondola ride was very fun! the guy that was steering the gondola waas all dressed up in typical outfit with the black and white striped shirt, and the black pants and the hat with a red ribbon or something tied around it. we saw some murano glass making at a factory and they had a gift shop there. i thought the gift shop was gonig to be some mini shop, but it was like a WHOLE store full of beautiful murano glass. so many colors and glass everyuwhere! i just had to buy some!!!! and then we went to Florence which i enjoyed becauase we walked through the city center and again, more shopping to be done. me and my friends bargained there when it came to vendors. we then went to the Accademia Gallery which is where Michelangelo's colossal statue of DAvid is. the statue waas incredibly tall. and then we spend the night in Montecatini. and then we headed 2 Pisa! the leaning tower of pisa was actually leaning, my gosh, i looked like it was going to fall over!!!! and for a price, you could go on top of the tower and walk around in it. cool huh? and then we went to Volterra which gave us a spectacular view of the surrounding Tuscan hills. while we were there, we went to an alabaster factory which was cool! alabaster is like a type of rock but very very pretty and then it's shaped and all that to makes vases and all jewerly boxes and all kinds of amazing things. i bought a jewerely box for my mom and she loved it! and then we head to the Eternal City of Rome!!!! so much to see and do!!! the colosseum , Piazza Venizia and Palatine Hill were amazing! so much walking though!!!! we then we competed against each other to collect info about the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Campo de' Fiori, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. i tossed a coin in the fountain, to grant my wish of returning to Roma.
we went to the Vatican which was very holy. since i'm catholic, it meant a lot to me to have been there. we went into St. Peter's Basilica which had tons of works of art including Michelangelo's Pieta. we went into the Sistine Chapel which was completely crowded with tourists. LOL. our last night in rome, we all went to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. the next morning it was back to the US.
and i'll always remember too that me and my friend got lost in Rome. we had a map and all, but there are so many tiny streets in Rome and so many alleys, it was difficult to identify them on the map. we were lost for almost 2 hours!!!! we were the VAtican, and were supposed to have met up with other friends at the spanish steps. on the map we figured out how to get there by looking on the map, but when we started walking, we got completely LOST!!!!!! before we left the vatican, we had asked a store employee on how to get to the spanish steps. we had been there before, but with our tour guide lady. but she wans't there with us at the time. and so the store keeper spoke very very little enlgish. and we were like, OMg! how are we gonna get back! we can't even communicate with this guy, we don't even speak the same language. but then he asked me if i knew spanish. and i was like, yes yes i do! and i remeber he said, "that is so much easier!" so we started talking in spanish and he gave us directions on how to get there. he said we needed to take a bus to get there. but we were not allowed to take any public transportation. we tol dhim we were going to have to walk, and he said, well, it's going to be 4 km to get there. and we were like, km? we're from the US, we use miles. so i didn't know what the conversion was into miles. but we walked it! we walked all around rome lost! who knows how many people we asked. we were so scared we'd never find our way back. we eventually did! and then we all went to the Hard rock cafe.
next morning it was so sad to leave. we took a plane from rome to frankfurt in germany and then back to the US. i had the most amazing time!!!!!!!!
i've been to hawaii, Oahu to be exact. i went for a competition for our band and jazz and auxiliary at school. my dad went with me, but i wish my whole famliy could've gone too.
i been to L.A/ Anaheim to go to Disneyland. i luv it there! i go to mexico every year to visit family. we have no family here in the US, just really good friends. i'm going to visit my family in december so i'm looking forward to that. i'm going to be going to Las Vegas in about a week with my parents for a few days. my moms been there before and she says it's amazing!!! we're just going for fun. and i'm going to Reno, Nevada this sunday with my team to play soccer! but i hate it that it has to be THIS sunday because i want to watch the final of the World Cup, and i'm gong to miss it! i'm so angry!!!!
there's still tons of other places i'd love to visit!!!! i have a list of countries! i'd love to go to Bahrain and egypt and Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, China, Japan, India, and so many others!!!!! the list goes on.
i doesn't matter to me the number of hours i have sit on an airplane to get to my destination.

I'm from Kentucky, USA. My most fun trip I ever went on was to China, the culture is totally different and I got a big shock when I went because I was about 10 years old and I had naturally extremely blonde hair and everyone wanted their picture with me and touched my hair because many of them had never seen blonde hair in the lives! I was in Beijing and I have to say it was a very dirty city, the children wore pants that have a slit up the back so when they have to go potty they just squat and the slit opens and they just go anywhere, on the street, it doesn't matter! The streets were just flooded with black heads because it's crowded and everyone walks and it was neat to be standing at the top of a hill and looking down at the black sea of heads! People had bicycle's with huge bails of hay on the back, boxes, anything and everything, I don't know how they could manage! There was a lot of open markets for food and goods. We went to a theater that served us whole boiled chicken heads and we had to dig the meat out of the head...it was gross! That's all the cultural aspects I remember about China, and the great wall and architecture was absolutely amazing!
I've also been to Paris, Rome, Germany, Hawaii, and Mexico, but nothing is as memorable as China!
Rome would get second place though, the ruins and vatican were outstanding!
Third place is Paris because of all the art museums, it was so cool to see all the paintings of artists that I had read about in text books!
And Germany is cool but all we ever do there is visit family and big castles...
And my dream vacation would be to visit Egypt, India, and Russia

I've been to Venezuela, Aruba and various states in the US. I would love to go to Australia and Japan.
I was born in Venezuela and lived there for nine years. I lived on the orinoco river for the majority of it in a remote village. I also lived in Caracus for a short while and Puerto Ayacucho which is a small city in the middle of the country. I loved it, I was in the mild of the rainforest an it was amazing.
I visited Aruba when I still lived in Venezuela and it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I could see the bottom of the ocean from the plane when we were landing. The beaches are white and so pure. I will be going there again next year for a family reunion and I am very excited because not that I am older I will be able to experience a whole new side of the Island. We didn't realize how harsh the sun was there though and got burned very badly the first day we were there.
The states in the US I have been to are Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, New York, and Ohio.
I live in Florida and have for the last 14 yrs. I can't really think of too many things that are exciting because I have lived here for so long it has all become normal to me.
My brother was married in Georgia so I only spent a few days, but it was beautiful. Going to Atlanta was an experience I will never forget. We went to the Coca-Cola factory where I got sick from too many free samples, haha. We also got to visit underground Atlanta which was equally amazing.
Both my brother and my sister lived in Virginia so I have been to Georgetown and DC among other place. Georgetown is amazingly gorgeous, it was August when i was there so the atmosphere was just beautiful. It's such a preserved town. DC is all you would expect from the nations capital. I think I've been to ever tourist site that place has to offer. We went there one year when i had to where a huge knee brace that was metal so I got searched at every spot because the metal detector went off every time.
I lived in Michigan for a little while here and there. I was very young so I don't remember much. Mainly hiding in the bath tub under a mattress when there were tornadoes, which I called tomatoes.
I just recently visited New York and I got to go to NYC and the Hamptons. NYC is just wow, thats all I can say is wow. I was just overwhelmed by Times Square and Ground Zero and the South Shore Pier and Grand Central Statio and Penn Station. It was the most fun i've ever had on vacation. I took 2 rolls worth of picture in one day. The Hamptons was pretty much what I expected, all huge houses and gorgeous beach front properties. The people were nice, as well as the people in NYC. I loved the art worked on the street corners in NYC!
I went to Chicago when I went to Indiana and Illinois. I only spent a few hours in the city but it was fun. Great pizza!!!
My great aunt had a farm in Ohio that I used to go visit her at. I was young so I don't remember very much. I do remember that she had a huge dog and I used to ride it like it was a horse.
Tennessee is beautiful in the fall. I've gone to a couple weddings there and they were both amazing. The scenery is unbelievable. I love the houses up there too. Gatlinburg is definitly a place to visit. I have not been able to go to Nashville though.
I don't remember anything special about the other states I've been too. I probably haven't been to the best places they have to offer though.

Just by the way you worded this, you deserve this. Plus I think you're funny. First off, it's too long winded. No way. I'll just rattle off a general listing.
New York City, Upper New York State, Puerto Rico, Soooouth Florida ( Barf! Barf! Yukkkooh!! ) Washington, D. C. , Fort Wayne Indiana, ( Ick! I found out it was on Hitlers' All Time Hit List Too! ) California ( Ultra Barf!! ) Arizona, France, Belgium, Holland, and Utah. Thought about Germany, maybe so?
Stuff happened. Much of it rotted, along with the people. Have at it: Say " Nothing's perfect. "

I've been to a lot of places here in the States...I'm very lucky to have parents and grandparents that like to travel. I've been to Mexico once...it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. A friend and I went with a co-worker who was from Mexico, and we went to his home town, it was a 2 1/2 hr. drive south of Veracruz...we were the only two white people in the entire village. Before we went, I thought my Spanish was good enough to get by, but boy was I wrong! : ) Thankfully, our co-worker stayed by our sides and translated for us. Most of the children had never seen anyone with blue eyes, so they were very interested in seeing/talking to us...there was a carnival, a concert, black beaches, a street dance, and so much more! It was enchanting! My dream is to go to Italy...someday!

I have traveled to Israel, France, Germany, England, Hawaii, Mexico, east coast of the United States, and Hong Kong.
In September I'm going to travel to the British Isles (Ireland/Scotland/Wales/England) for a graduation trip. I'm really excited because I've always wanted to visit them - that's where my family's from. I want to go back to London England because it is such an absorbing place. The Crown Jewels were fascinating, all the history came alive, and I learned a lot even as a younger kid. You want a good story?
Well, in England, (in Europe in general), people eat dinner a lot later than here. By late I mean about 10 or 11 at night. Well, we were in bed in our apartment that we rented while visiting London at that time a couple days before we were going to move on to Paris, and we heard a funny noise, like a distant wailing sound. Eventually it faded but not before freaking us out a little. We tried to go back to sleep but within a minute or so it seemed like the room exploded into noise. That distant wailing sound came through the walls at us and was no longer distant, so loud we couldn't hear each other screaming. I swear, it sounded like an invasion of the night of the living dead. My dad ran out the door to find out what it was, while we started to grab our bags and run out the door to get away from it (still in our pajamas). Then my dad came back in and told us to calm down, and suddenly the noise stopped. Dad started laughing and said it was the fire alarm. We were still officially scared out of our minds, because we thought there was a fire in the building. He said no, don't worry...somebody was making dinner a few apartments down, and they burned some toast.
Apparently in apartment buildings like this, when a fire alarm goes off, it doesn't set off in all rooms at once. It starts in that one room, and unless someone shuts it off, it will go off in the next room, and the next, and the next, until someone shuts it off or it is sounding in all the rooms to evacuate. Strange, to me, but such are the perils of apartments.
That was London. :-)
