Undenying love and care, people who will never judge you and always be there for you to depend on, people to laugh with, share stories with, cry on, and people who I want to be there for through the good and bad.

Well - sometimes I get so agrivated I want to move out and communicate with these people in my house thru phone conversations! And most of the time I don't regret feeling that way. But deep down - regardless of how much they piss me off, I love my family. I don't know what I'd do without them - we have so many memories and even though we don't always agree - it's okay. Because you're family is what teaches you how you'll run your family someday.

To me there are different types of family. There is, of course, the people you are related to, but there is also close friends who you create a 'family' with. I grew up always saying that I love the people i am related to because that is what you do, however, that doesn't mean I like them. For example, my sister and I are polar opposites. We wouldn't hang out or talk to each other if we weren't related. On the other hand, my best friend and I talk everyday, hang out, her kids refer to me as their aunt and that is because that is the relationship we chose to have.

Family is my life....I do not consider myself to be a selfish man, I have put my family's needs before my own, however, now that my girls are grown and I have been single for a few years now, I find it difficult to start a life of my own without them directly connected with it...regardless of what direction I may take ...my family still means everything to me.

A close nit unit that supports each other, is always there when one another needs moral or any other support. In times of crisis does not fight each other instead come together as one to be more strong. They must also worship together.

For my generation and up, not a whole heck of a lot, I ignore half of them.

As for wife and kids (immediate) it means much more.
