hi im travelling from London Gatwick to Doha in Qatar, then on to manila. Do i need a visa just to stay in the airport for a few hours while im waiting for my flight?

No. As long as you don't leave the airport, you are not required to get a visa.

If you have a long layover though, I suggest getting a visa and going out to explore! It'll sure beat staying hours in the airport.

NO. You only have to follow the signs to the transfer desks. You will stay in the airport until the next flight will departe.

Why do no longer you call them and ask them. they are in a extra helpful place to point you properly than human beings on Y/A, maximum of whom have on no account flown from Malaysia to the united kingdom on Qatar airlines.

u should'nt require one unless that place has transit visa regulations in effect. I think you should double check with ur travel agent or the Qatar consulate/embassy will be your best bet.

i dont think so, i travelled to australia and stopped at singapore airport for 5 hours and i didnt need one for singapore, just australia
