I wouldn't want one. I mean, marriage is for love. So, I'm not one to approve one. I can see how it used to work in the old days, but not anymore.

I am respectful of other people's beliefs but would not want this for myself. I went to school with a girl who was to be married when she reached 16, her fiance was 48 years old and would have been 50 when they got married, he was fat, ugly and lived in India, she was terrified to marry him but his family had money and so her family insisted she married him. I would not want to do that but she was too scared of her family to say no, she left school at 16 and was taken away from Britain and as far as I know she did marry the man. I have heard of some arranged marriages that are successful but would never agree to it and would never put my daughter in that position either

Hey we have the same first name! Well I don't agree with it. I personally don't believe in marriage, if you love someone then the fact that you are both committed to one another is all that should matter. Arranged marriages I think is hurtful to human beings, because you could marrying someone you absolutely abhor.

With my past history with Guys, it might be a good idea if my folks choose my life partner!! lol
Seriously, I'm not against it but don't feel people should be forced into it. One of my close friends didn't meet his wife until the day of the wedding, they've been happily married for 7yrs and have 2 beautiful kids.

I think you should only marry somone you love!
Arranged marriges are old-fashioned and are wrong!!

its good....but to make it sucessful u have to be equally smart that of love marriage ...there is no difference in staying together as LOVE MARRIAGE/ARRANGE MARRIAGE.....in both cases u should have patience/love/money/maturity/affection......
