Israel has a complete, absolute and irrevocable right to the land given to them by God Himself. No one has the right to take it from God's chosen people, the Jews; and no one has the right to make them give it up. Prophecy (a foretelling of future events) has nothing to do with it; God has decreed this and it is just as true today as it was 4,000 years ago.
The people residing on the land when Israel was re-established were NOT Palestinians. There never was a country properly named "Palestine." This was a name given to the land by the Romans at the end of their rule over what is now referred to as Israel. The Romans renamed the land (although they had no right to do this) after the Jews' enemies, the Philistines. These people were driven out and killed, at God's command. (Why is another subject.)
If the people insist on calling themselves the Palestinians (after the Philistines), then the results of an early battle between David and Goliath requires all Palistinians to be the Jews' slaves. 1 Samuel 17: "8 Then he [Goliath] stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.”
We all know David killed Goliath.
Peace and love in Jesus.

No. See, when God gave them the land, they got scared off by some giants and wandered the desert for 40 years. THEN they got Israel. God gave it to them, they gave it back, then they took it on their own. Plus, they lost the land AGAIN over 2000 years ago. I might as well go back to my house in Texas and tell the people there to give it back. Not that I'm Anti-Semitic, but I'm not Anti-Palestinian either, and this isn't really fair.

What bible prophecy is that? I don't recall any bible prophecy specifically stating the lines and bounderies of Israel and Palestine. To be fair though, Palestine (Hamas) is hardly blameless in any matters occuring between the two states now.

Yes I do. And God gave no allotment of land given to the Greek seafaring community who call themselves Palestinians and claim to be the ancient Philistines.
Syria, Egypt and Jordon ran them off when they tried to make their beds on their land - so no they claim Israel (NOT PALESTINE, NEVER WAS PALESTINE).
Review your history. Israel was renamed Palestine by the Roman Emperor Hadrian who's hate for Jews was so intense he not only did his best to remove all historical evidence of the Jews from the land but renamed Israel after the name of its ancient enemy.
Not one Philistine exists today. They were completely wiped out of existence.

Yes, God gave the land to Abraham and the prophets maintain this saying "I gave with upheld hand the land to Abraham"
Abraham had like 8 children, Isaac, Ishmael and the children of Keturah after Sarah died. It was said Ishmael and his children are descendents of Abraham and it is argued they will live 'in your midst' or some translators have 'to your east'
In any case God gave strict orders to Moses to treat the foreigner in the land with mercy and hospitailty
So I defend Israels right to exist and defend themselves but sometimes they can be too heavyhanded.
I never had to contend with homiside bombers and their self destructive behavior so I am sympathetic with a person trying to live and protect family and friends

Nope. Israel needs to stop labelling Christians as second class citizens. Then maybe Israel (the church) will return to that land.

I believe Israel has the right to the land they occupy and they are defending themselves. They have held back for a long time and they are fed up.

Yes. Actually the reconstitution of Israel as a country is one of the precursors to Jesus coming back.
