I want to know what everyone thinks. I believe in God and think what he has done is great and everything, but I think Jesus is evil. Think about it...in the 10 commandments story, Jesus told Moses to kill anyone that didn't want to believe in him. I think that's terrible because you are supposed to love everyone no matter what they do wrong. Also, they are discovering that Jesus may have planned to get killed on the cross so that he can show his powers by rising again. If this is true then he goes against the commandments again by basically planning a suicide. I just want to know if I am the only one that thinks like this. I'm just so confused.

Thank you for sharing this question with us.
You sure have a point there!..
I'd suggest you to look at it from a different angle:
Would you REALLY like to have it otherwise?
Oh by the way, please take a good care of yourself.
Have a nice day!

The ten commandments were not the law God give to Moses to kill everyone please Read Exodus 20. The moral law however, which Moses wrote with his own hand in a book is found in Deut 31 and that has all the Levitical laws and other such laws.
God the eternal Son became incarnate in Jesus Christ. Through Him all things were created, the character of God is revealed, the salvation of humanity is accomplished, and the world is judged. Forever truly God, He became also truly man, Jesus the Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived and experienced temptation as a human being, but perfectly exemplified the righteousness and love of God. By His miracles He manifested God's power and was attested as God's promised Messiah. He suffered and died voluntarily on the cross for our sins and in our place, was raised from the dead, and ascended to minister in the heavenly sanctuary in our behalf. He will come again in glory for the final deliverance of His people and the restoration of all things. (John 1:1-3, 14; Col. 1:15-19; John 10:30; 14:9; Rom. 6:23; 2 Cor. 5:17-19; John 5:22; Luke 1:35; Phil. 2:5-11; Heb. 2:9-18; 1 Cor. 15:3, 4; Heb. 8:1, 2; John 14:1-3.)

sexymama20,
whoopsidaisy gave you the typical answer that any good Catholic would give you. Jesus and God are not one and the same. "Jesus was 100% God and 100% man." !!! Oh? So JeGod, or Gosus, is what 200%...something? Nope, sorry not buying stock in that one. Besides, the Bible never explicitly says they are the same. It's a common misinterpretation. It's all in the mindset you have when you read the text. If you want to believe they are the same, you'll read it that way.
Anyway, some input on the actual question.
1.) I don't think Jesus and Moses ever spoke. They didn't live in the same time frame.
2.) Jesus didn't plan his own death. The Bible prophecies his death in Numbers 19. I guess you could say, God commanded his death. We killed him. It's really quite brilliant if you understand it.
Hope this helps. Oh...and for anyone who actually takes the time to look at Numbers 19. Use your God given thought processes to read behind the actual text. Hint: The story of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.
Good luck all.

Jesus, did not get himself killed. He knew that people would hate him and kill him for what he said, did and stood for. But that does not make him responsible for their actions.
I'm not aware of anywhere where Jesus spoke with Moses about the 10 commandments. I think you are mistaken concerning that event. The only place that scripture has Jesus and Moses speaking was at the transfiguration and we are not told the content of their conversation.
As far as Jesus being evil. That's what the leaders of his day thought. They thought that he was possessed by Satan himself. That's why the persecuted him and eventually murdered him. You see, Jesus told the truth, regardless of the consequences. He exposed the motives of our hearts. He is not fooled by outward appearances. He knows all our secret sins.
And yet he loved us enough to die for our sins. To take our punishment and place before the judgment of God, so that we might experience forgiveness and new life.
Jesus evil? I don't think so.

Jesus is good. He is the Messiah that the prophets of the old testament were talking about of coming.
Jesus told Moses to kill? There is no where in the bible like that.
Jesus did not commit suicide. She sacrified Himself as a sacrificial lamb to wash off our sins. (Long ago people use lambs to sacrifice to God for their redemption of sin.) So then, after Jesus died on the cross, there is no need for lambs anymore, because the Holy Spirit works right away for the believers.
If you have seen demons casted out and sick people healed by the name of Jesus. then you'll understand.

Jesus is God. There's God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. So, no, Jesus was not bad and the only reason He died was so that we could all have eternal life in heaven instead of going to where we belong - hell.

Where do you read that JESUS told Moses to kill anyone that didn't believe in Him?
The book of Judas is not a Biblical source at all.
Do your homework better if you ask a question about Christianity!!!!

jesus is good. What r u talking about???? Jesus is the God that love us so much that He died on the cross to save us from our sins. What he did is not a showing off, NEVER... He died so as we can be freed from our sin and with His resuraction on the 3rd day proof that death no longer has control on us as He has beaten it. We are all winners and nothing to be afraid of if we trust in Him, Jesus, our Heavenly Father. Jesus loves us so much, and I believe that His love to us is the main reason that draw me near to Him, knowing that His sacrifice, no one can ever done just to save us sinful humans.
Read Bible and pray to Jesus and ask Him to send u Holly Spirit so that u will understand Him better.. Remember, Jesus will never leave you if u seek HIM..
mail me if u need further explaination..

God = good. Jesus = good. But, Jesus was not his son or God himself, for that gives him too much power, as you said.
Islam answers this right as it says that Jesus is simply a Prophet just as Muhammad is simply a Prophet.
