i do an hour of cardio each day, eat small frequent meals, and drink 60 oz of water daily. but no matter what i'm still hungry right before bed. i even try to fill up on broccoli so i dont end up eating the wrong thing. but after that i still want a peanut butter and jelly or something like that. what can i eat A LOT OF (to fill me up) that is satisfying but not too fattening?

Low calorie yogurt is a good way to satisfy your sweet tooth and it has protein so it should keep you full. If this doesn't work, try a small bowl of low calorie cereal. Special K makes all different kinds with berries and such. Just keep in mind that a little bit of peanut butter and jelly never killed anyone. Try allowing yourself to have, say, two crackers with peanut butter and jelly when you crave it. Moderation is the key and if you are still hungry, just remember you are only a good night's sleep away from breakfast. Hope this helps!!!

before bed--you can think of having a glass of skim milk--the slow digesting proteins will keep you full in the long run

also--to stop being hungry before bed--go to bed at the same time everyday--avoid staying up too late, since then your body will be starving, since you haven't ate since dinner

you can eat a lot of fruit to fill you up--it's a good snack alternative
also--consider having some whey protein during various parts of the day to keep you feeling full

personally, i wouldn't eat any carbs other than fruit after 9pm

so a peanut butter and jelly sandwich would be fattening overnight (even if it's not that fattening if you ate it in the morning)--the inactivity causes all the calories to be turned into fat

Popsecret Kettle Corn pop corn only has 100 calories (a special bag of it though) so that doesn't seem to fattening before bed.

Never eat before bed, try to stop around 8 or 9. It's very unhealthy to eat before going to sleep.

i think the small frequent meals is why you r ending up hungry at the end of the day. you should try eating a better dinner to hold you over. one decent meal a day shouldnt hurt your dieting

It's a myth that food eaten right before bed converts more easily into fat. Go ahead and have yourself a healthy snack for a nightcap.

You need to eat something that you have been won't in the middle of the day and that way you will not curve it at night. That works for me

you are probably craving that because you are lacking in a certain food group, eat a spoonful of peanut butter, that might help, every now and then reward yourself! don't be too strict, you need some rewards every now and then!!! :):)

water, even though you drink 60oz during the day, if you drink at night then it will fill your stomach up plus help you wake up earlier as well.
