what does eat ice mean?

okey i was talking to my boyfriend on the phone two nights ago. and i told him that my stomach was starting to hurt, and he told me to eat ice. what does he mean by that? or what does "eat ice" mean anyways?

Sounds like he meant you should eat some ice to soothe your stomachache.

It means to take a piece of ice, stick it in your mouth, and chew it like food...
