It appears as though we live in a day/hr that:COMMITMENT/RELATIONSHIP is quite frankley becoming something viewed as drudgery or imprisonment??? And where did this idea that;(noting"not~all~but~some): Woman get the idea that it is perfectly ok for them to establish a relationship with one guy while having multiple affairs/relationships with other guys??? It has been my experience that it appears as though the QUOTE/UNQUOTE "PLAYER~VIEWED~AS~A~MAN",typically speaking, has by and in large taken a complete and direct opposite turn, and now it seems that "WOMAN" ARE EMBARKING/EMBRACING THIS FOOLISHNESS"???? I am not understanding this? It is/was bad enough that men/cowards would do such an act, but the woman to now what appears to be gaming/playing/players is really wierd???? It is like finding a real woman is by and in large becoming something in which is quite hard to find????

No it isn't gone, but it does seem to be fading. In this world of speed dating, people feel they can flirt and move on with no consequence. You need to see it from a woman's perspective as well. Too often men ask women out only because they are hoping for a sexual encounter at the end of the date. If you want a woman to be a lady, then be a gentleman. Those terms are not as outdated as some would think. Spend the time to get to know a woman, and let her know that you are interested in all aspects of who she is. Learn what she likes and dislikes. Dating has always been a game, and it isn't easy to know when to move to another level.
I'd suggest you say up front that you dislike being with someone in multiple relationships once you have established a mutual liking for each other. You should take this slowly, and be sure that you and she have a mutual attraction. Too soon and you seem needy and controlling. Too late and it seems as if you don't care.
About the third or fourth date is a good time to start talking about your feelings. Do it lightly at first, and just say that you really enjoy being with her, and that you believe in working together to build a relationship. Watch her reaction and take the time to LISTEN to what she says. Don't push it at that point unless she seems to want to discuss it.
After that, perhaps a few more dates down the road, tell her again that you really like her, and want to explore a more committed relationship with her. See what she says, and also watch how she says it. If all she says is 'OK' then she probably is not interested for the long term. If she asks you questions and seems to be genuinely interested, ask her what she feels a committed relationship means, and share your thoughts on it as well. Talk about how you feel about relationships, and see if she agrees. Always, take it slow and easy, and let her do most of the talking.
There are women out there who want what you want. Take the time and do it right. Don't expect committment after only a date or two. It takes time. A good, solid relationship is built on communication and understanding. .

Please don't judge a whole group by the actions of a few individuals. True, some women have multiple relationships but so do men. I agree that it is wrong. However, it is not acceptable to say that a man can be a player but a woman can't. In a perfect world both sexes would stick with their partners. There are women who aren't "Desperate Housewives" out there. If you keep finding these types of women, maybe you're looking in the wrong places.

Wow I am Surprised! A man who knows how hard it is to find a counter-part. Well all women as you know aren't like that. Most women have embrassed this" Player view" because they are sick and tired of being hurt and alone. So women have learned not to depend on commitment /relationships. It's not confinement or imprisonment, but just a mechanism to deter emotional heartache. But most men think of commitment as confinement, so why not women. Like I said before finding a woman that wants what you want isn't hard you just have to know where to look.

From MY experience, it is completely the opposite!! Men are the ones that don't care about commitment or relationships. They are more than happy to have one at home taking care of the house, the kids, etc,........and have one, or two or more on the side just because the one at home doesnt appeal to them anymore. No excitement anymore, and they blame THAT all on the woman....... NO WAY!

It is sad but true, many people have lost values of past generations, so many have lost respect for themselves and others. The feminist movement and the push for equal rights somehow became the right to do what ever you want and some how justify it. It has taken its toll.

The world is full of immorality and it will only go from bad to worse.

I myself am a faithful, monogamous and loving woman. I have a boyfriend and I am 100% committed to him and our future. There are women out there who want and will provide monogamy.
