If you had bunion surgery, what was the procedure and the outcome like?

I had both my bunions taken off...i am in heaven now... the first foot was my left foot. by the end of the 2nd week i was walking on it a little bit...the pain was minimal as i was on vicodin for the two weeks... the right foot was the kicker...if i would have gotten that foot done first i wouldn't have gone back....it was terrible for the first week. i cried like a baby but..pains come, pains go..... i had to do exercises to ge tmy feet back in bending shape... i still can't totally do lunges but i hate doing them anyway, ;-)
if you have a cool Dr. maybe they will do both feet at once so you can get it over with quicker...
