Cut it in half. I have been giving my daughter those vitamins since she was 2.

No kid I know wants 1/2 of a vitamin once a day...most of them want more than 1 a day.....they now make My First Flintstones...they can take the whole vitamin once a day. My daughter loves them...and I think at 2 they can start taking them. Read the label to be sure.

I have been giving my daughter (2 yrs, 3 mos) the chewable vitamins, with no ill effects so far. I think the thing is to make sure they know they have to chew and swallow it and not choke on it. We tried when she first turned 2 and she didn't quite get the concept.

Yes you can, but they are hard on teeth.. Try the gummy vits. You can get them from wal mart, Kmart, etc....

Or they also make the popsicle's with vitamins in them too. You know the ones that are liquid and then you freeze them for later. You can't even taste them.

my doctor actually said to just get the tablet vitamins and cut it in half - the one tablet does is for a 4 year old, so you will have to cut it in half until they turn four - but it is better than fighting with them to take the liquid stuff! Good luck!

Look at the labels and compare what vitamins they have and how much of each kind. If they are the same or close to the same, then it wouldn't be a big deal to switch.
