I can"t wait until Jesus comes back. I will go Home with my Lord. I am looking forward to my new home. No more sickness, no more sorrow, and no more pain. I have been waiting for the Rapture, ever since Jesus saved my soul.

No, I am not scared about the changing of the church. (1Thess.4:17,1Cor.15:52.) It won't happen like the movie, and cause chaos; 1Cor. 14:33.

It will probably happen years after the great tribulation, because the chosen ones come out of the G.T; Rev. 7:14, Matthew24:22, 1Thess. 4:17 (*Afterward*...but does not mention how long afterward..)

But the transfiguration of the church will probably occur before Armageddon, as all the holy ones will be with him then. Zechariah 14:5b.

The earth will be here forever. Ecc.1:4, Rev.21:4. 2Peter 3:13.

But Armageddon will occur in the *generation* that saw the Great tribulation. Matthew 24:34,3; Daniel 12:1-3. The sign of Christ Presence/coming is the G.T., and the conclusion of the system of things is Armageddon. Acts 2:19,20, Rev.16:16, Rev. 19:17,18.

The world will not come to an end at the time of the Rapture...it may go into confusion for a while, but it will bounce back.

I'm not scared of the Rapture because it is my belief that I'll be taken up in it. I'd be more afraid of the Tribulation that happens after the Rapture.

The rapture theory has ruptured the church. This way of thinking has not been around for very long. I believe that we are going to take over not take off. Jesus taught about a kingdom not an escape plan. Do you believe that God finally just gives up humaninty? I personally don't consider Jesus a loser.

No, because I know that it isn't real. I know that if Jesus even lived, I don't think he did at all, he wasn't divine. Christianity is not a true religion, and even if it was the figurative "end of the world" mythology was a socio-political reaction towards Rome, and had metaphores regarding the fall of Rome and the end of the Roman Empire (aka the world) and a return of peace on earth.

Little did the author of this parable know that after Rome there were far worse governments to come.

Nope. All prepared. Can't wait. Been blood bought, and waiting for the final trumpet! Woohoo!

UPDATE: For those who say the word "rapture" is not in the Bible, you are in error. It is there. You just don't know the Latin translation of the Greek.

The English word "rapture" is derived from Latin word "rapio" (or rapere, raptus)

1. Meaning: to carry away, to be caught up, to snatch, seize, pluck, drag away, carry off, abduct, plunder, ravish, rape.

2. English word "rape" derived from this Latin root.

I Thessalonians 4:17 says, "Then we who are alive and remain will be "caught up" in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

The words in the English "caught up" are translated from the Latin Vulgate's word "rapiemur."

Here is the actual Latin Vulgate original text of I Thessalonians 4:17: "deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul "rapiemur"
c u m illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper c u m Domino erimus."

And THAT my friends, shows where "rapture" is in the Bible. Thankyouverymuch.

*On a side note, I had to put spaces in between the letters c u m in the Latin, because the Yahoo program censored it as something lewd. Forget that the Latin word has nothing to do with the censored word. People graduate from college Summa C u m Laude all the time.

There is no word "rapture" in the Bible. It is a theory made from the doctrinal writers of the Middle Ages.
