Well him giving you the ring means he definitely wants to marry you. And he set a date, which means it is going to happen!!! He probably wants to make the official proposal something really special. Don't press the issue with him about a formal proposal. Let it be a total surprise, that is the most exciting part.

He definitely loves you, let him do it in his own way and time. You know you are getting married, so that's all that matters.

It sounds like he is waiting for the perfect time and sometimes it takes a while for the guy to put his plan in effect. The best thing you can do is be patient, I know it's weird that he gave you the ring already, but it will be super special when he does propose! Congradulations to you!

I think you should sit down w/ him and explain to him that you can't marry him unless he officially proposes 2 u. I feel the same way about getting proposed to. It's (hopefully) a once in a lifetime moment and it should be remembered for the the rest of your lives.

If you really love him then he has already propossed to you the day when you were aat the jewelry store! He sounds like the type of person who do things differently! So go with the flow! What you should do to surprise him out of his head and mind! You go and propose to him by going onto your knee and ask him to marry you! Make the best of your relationship and may GOD bless you and your famaly! Best of luck and happiness!

I saw some other questions you asked and the one about him with his rage is troubling. You must know by now that men are usually immature. This guys sounds like he's still in High School punching the wall. He could become an abuser. You should be dating older men not younger, your spinning your wheels.

U accepted the ring when u got it ,the proposal is pointless at this time , if u love this man don't hold that minor detail against him get married be happy

Sounds like he's buying himself more time. Although if he's 22 and you're 29, who knows what's going through his head. It still amazes me people get married in their late teens and early 20s. "Nice and pricey." Classic.

If you got the ring, you're engaged. Kinda sh**y that he didn't propose in a special way, that will be something that you'll always remember

I think he is too immature still to actually get married, and I think you know that too.
I got married at 21, and I have been lucky that I'm still married 5 years later.
