In my new place the side of the range top is sticking up a little. It does not interfere with cooking, and the oven is seperate. I want to just replace the top or shell.

If you truly need to replace it you can, but they are hard to find. Buying from the manufacture it will cost a lot. Your best bet may be to find someone who is throwing out one like yours . If you offer to take it to the dump for them you will probably get it much cheaper than you could get a new one.And since the problem with your old one is only cosmetic you can take your time finding one.

Most ranges have adjustment feet under it for leveling etc. Is there something you can do to lower it from there?
