than with a girl thats trying to do something with herself? i just dont get it. some guys would rather have a girl depend on them financially and every other way than to get with a female that is trying to get her own so that she can bring something to the table in a relationship. and im not talking about the kind of woman that is making money and lets u know every chance she gets....im talking about a down to earth female that wants a down to earth guy but she's just trying to accomplish a few things for herself whether it be materially, financially, professionally, etc.

I would rather have the girl that is doing something with herself, but at the same time, sometimes I just need to get laid so I go for the s lut because I don't want to work at a relationship at the moment. It works the other way too, with girls going after "bad-boys" because they are more exciting, when you know in 10 years their just gonna be overweight alcoholics with no money; while the other guys are gonna own businesses and/or just be overall more successful, then women stop going after bad-boys and try to get the successful guys to save them, but then the guys don't want them anymore cause they've screwed 50 bikers in the last 10 years. It's a vicious cycle.

It's called ego and low self esteem. Some men feel the need to be the aggressor and supporter of a relationship so that he's in 'charge' of the relationship. He doesn't want to feel that the other person is equal, or possibly even better, because then that person might just leave. If you have someone that relies on you for every single thing, then that's control that can be held onto.

Because men want to get "it" the easiest way possible, and only a whore will do that. Yes, men will be intimitdated by a woman like u, but that's good, be intimidating. A real man will not be intimidated by you. Be patient and a real man will come along, and he will respect and understand what u are doing for yourself. Good things come to those who wait. Guys like that want to feel needed and depended on. Most of the time they are using those girls to get what they want. But believe me asa veteran of that whole thing, girls like you are the ones that they call trophies. You got the look, the money, and the smarts to keep a man entertained and intrigued. Most men are looking for a chick like you but end up with a hoodrat b/c they didn't have anything better to do than that. If they stay with her, they got caught up most of the time and end up cheating on them with girls like u.

CONTROL! The little slutty girls usually have no common sense and do exactly what they are told by some guys, the guys can walk all over them and don't think twice about it. All guys aren't that way though, there are guys out there who will appreciate you for wanting do something with your life, he'll pop up when you least expect it.

It's not as easy as you say. Men still like to be dominate, and sometimes we come across women who try to take on our role. With or without us. Guys are used to being the 'protector' and 'bread winner' in relationships, and it can be hard for some to see women in a different light when for generations women have been in a different role than we are now...
There are, however, plenty of guys who appreciate strong/independent women and would rather have a partner who is an equal than one who is a dependent...apparently the guys you are referring to, aren't ones that are good matches for you...
Hang in there...ones who'll appreciate you for who you are and what you are doing ARE out there...be patient...

b/c they are men and they want to get with easy girls b/c they arent quit ready to settle down...and some guys like to feel like they control the relationship.. lucky for me i dont have to deal with that anymore....
